but that would ruin the bad/good element, meaning anyone who stays in towns and/or areas of light (basically everywhere, including detlas) will have positive karma, meaning that everyone would.

    YES!
Killing innocent Wybels would give you negative karma.

That'd be really annoying. I need to do the twaim quest or something, but I wanna make sure I don't die. I'm already on low karma somehow, and now I have to grind karma back up. Inconvenient. Makes Wynn more grindy. Boring.

You really can't control it. I'm inside twaim, phantoms everywhere. I can't just stop and put on my replacement. Heck, I shouldn't NEED a replacement.

Its my fault that it fell off, only because I wasn't paying attention to my karma, which can't have a counter on the top right of your screen. I'm in twaim, don't know how much my karma is. Use a command? *typing* nope whoops you're dead phantoms gotcha

    I really like this idea
-Staying in holy places like Aldorei, Realm of light, Light forest and Bantisu temple would increase karma
-Staying in evil places like House of Twain, Dark/Kander Forest would decrease karma
-Using weapons/armor with negative life steal or poison would decrease karma
    - Using weapons/armor with health regen stats and mana regen would increase karma

    also add a poll

Killing corrupted mobs raises karma, so just kill said phantoms.
Besides that ya it probably needs revamped so after so many karma is lost or gained in an area you become 'used to it' and no longer experience karma changes for a while.
(Or maybe just remove karma areas all together).

Also the karma needs to be raised to 1000 so the changes take longer to effect.

Also 1 add alerts for every 10 or so karma lost, and 2, if we move it below the compass it could be better.
(But really /karma isn't that long of a command, I can get it out of the way in like 0.02 seconds).

1 problem, how are you going to raise / lower the level of mobs in this scenario

*kills passive mobs with guards around me and goes to -50*

I almost couldn't cross the border over that wall of text oh god

This sounds like a good idea but has a few flaws, for example: a weapon at 100 karma seems too farmable especially if that weapon is good.
