As I prepare to make a build myself I have begun to learn of the housing mechanics more in depth and I have come to a few things I would change. [cant take the credit for them all will link discord message links and say the username of who said some]

First if it would be possible to add the ability to turn the unchangeable bottom base of our housing into barrior blocks. This ability to remove the bottom of the bottom base of the housing would allow for builders to make more complex builds, as you don't nearly always want something beneath you, allowing for far greater freedom. Also in comparison to the rest of these proposed changes, it should be simpler to implement, and probably the most useful.

Second I would suggest incising the player housing size from from 5x5 to 7x7 chunks, and would nearly double the size of player houses. [80x80/6400 vs 112x112/12544 blocks]. This honestly is an issue in my eyes since currently player housings feel a bit restrictively small. Since currently guild housing is ~5 times larger than player housing plots at 11x11 chunks 176x176/30976 blocks. This change would bring player housings to a far more reasonable 1/2.5th of the size of guild housing plots, but would without a doubt be the hardest change proposed here, but a much needed one. [may need new housing plots... If so please give players the ability to transfer their builds over if possible.]

Third if possible maybe add raid chest, and lootrun camp chest statues or decorations that can be used to check the current pool rotation. Think this would be nice QoL But maybe it would be too overpowered.

Fourth I noticed level 70-90 and 110 wood don't have any blocks, and many areas like the void, SE and late gavel have blocks that aren't usable in housing [also would love to get the void tree wood] But this is something that would take alot of time to implement.

Fifth please fix the holes in the housing platforms base... my ocd is killing me. [true easiest]

4 not mine, but would be nice.

Removing the weird floating barrior blocks near the edge and at high elevation. It makes building in some locations a bit hard, credit too clicepoly [cant spell there wynn discord name]

Gray water, gray leaves, gray plants, rope, chain, and cattails all use messed up vine blockstates, and thus would require a tool to place them.
As for Vantablack and Molten Coals, stack 2 dirt slabs or 2 dark cobblestone slabs on top of each other to create them.

    That's acacia wood.

YES please! I made a build in creative mode single player. When I went to start planning out buying the blocks I realized that there are so few blocks available in the housing menu and no good alternatives to some blocks that were a big part of my build. The housing feature feels a bit defunct without a decent variety of blocks to make builds with. Either it needs to just be free form creative mode, or if it's going to take grinding profs to get the mats to buy blocks with then the selection of blocks needs to be way better. It would be fair to get things up to 1.14 so that you've got all the walls and stairs and fences etc that are a big part of making builds that aren't just another take on the minecraft house.
