I don't know if many people had this problem; Getting your horse, putting it out, trying to put it elsewhere in you inv and then it despawns,
But I do and I absolutely hate it especially when i'm trying to get 4 or more items with my weapon and the horse saddle is in the way of one slot that is needed.
Technically I have no right to call upon my friend px_1 so ill just leave him.
Well if you could in a future update - after gavel - could you stop them from despawning?
One more thing..
I know you must feel all mad for me posting even more words to read but instead of having one horse the same could you change their textures? Like i'll have one black horse with nothing on it and then another one with 'socks' on it's hooves. Just another one of my crazy suggestions but I will add more in.

So if this is not needed please request it taken down immediately.

The whole reason they made them despawn is because people found a way to abuse having a horse and being able to access your inventory. It's a precaution to avoid glitching/exploitation.

 

Theres a reason that they despawn when tampering whit the inventory, if you would throw away the saddle and still be riding it it would be weird.

 

But like, you put it with the inventory, if it gets thrown it despawns like that? I don't know if I've rested my case but I hate it xD

I see, but Salted Grian Tama and all the other staff (like mods) are smart and can find a way to stop the abuse, example:
[34/AR] Bloobybub: "OH LOOK IMA JUST ABOOSE THAT HORSEH WITH MAH INV."
Console: Warning 1...
[68/AR]Bloobybub: "NOBODY WILL NOTICE ME NOOOWW MOOHAHA"
Console: Warning 2...
[100/AR] Bloobybub: "DAMN STUFF THIS CONSOLE IMA DO IT AGAIN!"
Console: Warning 3.. Banned for a week...
So they could just add a warning system with it.

They did find a way to stop the abuse, and having the horse despawn when you use your inventory is the easiest and most effective way to deal with it. An automated system wouldn't work because technically, everything they're doing is legal because the glitch is part of the game whether they want it to be or not. Therefore, there would be a storm of players with perfectly good intentions getting banned wrongfully.

To me, being slightly inconvenienced to prevent people from abusing glitches is worth it.
