Fun fabled boots idea?

Major ID: "Megaton": Falling by holding shift during charge increases the Damage and Area of Effect of Heavy Impact based on how far you fall. (suggested values: +10% damage per block fallen/+1 Area of Effect radius every 3 blocks fallen)

 

Proceeds to die of fall damage

 

I feel like it would be more fun if you didn’t have to hold shift. I like the major id idea though.

 

The item looks pretty barebones to me but I like the major ID!

Pretty cool, I would buff the HP a bit and give it some Fire damage % though.

 

you know what would be fun? introducing half-tiers for attack speed

 

Can't die to fall damage because of charge. That could be a possible trade off to balance though.
