    @Major_Lue you said post this sort of stuff on Forums instead of leaving it to rot in Discord, so here :P

    Note - I didn't spend a ton of time trying to balance my example ingredients. But, I'd love to hear speculation regarding their balancing.

    Add raw elemental defenses to ingredients
    Currently ingredients can only give +/-% elemental defenses. I know I bash ele defs all the time, but I thought this was worth a mention. Example:

    Remove powders from use as crafting ingredients, and replace their effects with equivalent ingredient stats
    (I am not going to touch the discussion on the sunk costs of existing weapons with powders as ingredients and possible ways to alleviate them - though I sympathize, that's a separate topic for a separate thread so please try to keep that out of here)

    Powders aren't balanced for crafting, and furthermore are relatively limiting in use. Essentially, you use powders in weapons (usually, you use as many as you can fit because that's almost always optimal) and never use them anywhere else. I suggest allowing ingredients to reproduce the effects of powders instead.

    Default weapon attack speeds to Normal, and have ingredients modify base speed
    This is in addition to the usual +/- t tier for melee-only influence. Modify the base damage scaling if needed, or otherwise manipulate other aspects of the ingredient, to balance the base speed stat.

    This removes the total randomness in that aspect, and also allows for things like tierstackable weapons.

    I do realize that balancing this is difficult. But, so is balancing crafting in general.

    Also, Fighting Stick is broken af please do something about that.

    Allow ingredients to add or remove powder slots

    I like the idea!
    Adds a lot more thought into what you would add onto a crafted weapon, including things that have sort of a tit-for-tat way of working.
