Chained Beast.

My Idea in two words. Nerf Him. WHY THE FUDGE IS HE STRONGER THAN DEATH (Or fake death depends on how far u are in the game) But really, Chained beast should not be stronger than death.

 

What happened is Death's Multi-Hit was destroyed with the Assassin nerf, as well as all mob's Multi-Hit. So Death's fight is very easy now. Chained Beast wasn't nerfed, so it seems stronger in comparison. (There is probably more at play, but who am I to know)

Who can say whether or not both Deaths are the same, and the Death in the ToA teleports away at the last second, leaving behind a token. Also, with Qira's fight, you never kill her, you just beat her. So they still live. No one has to be killing Death anytime soon.

I don't remember that quote, but then again, I didn't fully explore his House.

I was able to solo him pretty easily, honestly the only boss I struggle with is floor 6's boss XD

 

I tries to fight him few days ago, and he was soooo hard! I shouted for help, and few people came to help. We were 5 players, and it took us 10 mins to kill him (and 3 of us died).
I said that on the Content Team chat on skype, and @Selvut283 (who rebalaced the ToA mobs for the Gavel update) said it was Salted who buffed him...
Grigri already asked selvut to make him easier, so I guess it'll be implemented in next update!

But, well... if you really want to feel important, you can say it was your suggestion who got added to the game! ;)

 

That explains a lot. Well I'm just glad its going to be more balanced.

I don't think he's that much harder. Either my Elemental upper hand did tons of damage, or he's been buffed recently, because I used to get 1 Shot by him before Gavel. I managed to solo him pretty easy as an Air Ninja.

 

Chained beast is stronger than death because death summons chained beast and more....

 

Still, Chained Beast is freaking OP in my opinion.

It's not even because he does a giant amount of damage upon hitting you, thats not the problem. But his charge attack isn't only an instant onehit for players of probably all levels (once had a lvl 95 with some crazy health boots fighting him), but it's also completely unpredictable! I run in one direction, and sometimes, without any sign, he charges in front of me instead of behind. Also, the charge has a really high reach. (It counted as a hit when he charged me while he was stuck behind a wall. I was standing 5 blocks away.)
And then, there's also this health regen. But that's for all bosses though, so I wont complain about that, especially since this boss has a weakness against air! That actually is something I really like, it gives the elements a good use.
