Buff Health Regen

    Hi everyone, before I get into it I want to clarify something. I am NOT talking about natural health regen without any armor, I'm okay with it at 1 HP per 4ish seconds (Though a buff would be nice there too).

    I am talking about health regen in general. Here's the issue, your regen timer resets upon getting hit. Once hit, you have to stay out of the fight for a good 4-5 seconds depending on lag to get any health back. This means in a fight, health regen can be close to worthless. Think like the Hive where getting hit is almost inevitable. I suggest we put it on a fixed timer with no influences, this will keep it consistent and worth considering for actual fights.

    Hopefully this can get changed (as it probably is a simple fix) and life steal won't be a direct upgrade from health regen.

    Okay thanks! Wasn't sure where it went since I'd seen other people post suggestions in this category.
    What detail is missing? Seems pretty straight forward to me.

    How long should the timer be? If we're constantly regaining our HP, will bosses even be able to kill ele tank players? (basically same as trying to get over Qira's heal wall, but the boss and player are swapped)
    If neither the boss nor the player can kill their opponent then boss fight time is infinity which shouldn't happen.

    Well I figured most would take it that I meant the 4-5 seconds would be fixed and not resettable. So to answer your question, 4-5 seconds.
    You also have a good point, but due to wynncraft's major customization it should be up to the player if they want to sit in a room exchanging blows for +10 hours. Keep in mind that AFK grinding (which I think includes boss fights) is bannable, so most players will probably not go the full tank route since it could take AGES to do anything.

    +1 yep, but that’s obviously the numbers will be adjusted. Hpr is a close to useless stat. Probably if it gets changed it will be hpr/5 for how much healing over 5 seconds

    Health regen is already basically balanced as though it were fixed, or so it seems.

    0 HPR through entire Cybel boss fight = Ballanced

    + 1 I suppose,
    The only issue I could see was with aor, but on second thought you can't deal damage with it. There for you can't afk grind with it.

    Yeah, that's kind of a problem. They can farm if they do cactus, meaning unless they do a complete overhaul of AOR, that will be a problem.

    We can have % disable every time you get hit for a few seconds, and allow raw health regen to be constant.

    Or maybe there's nothing wrong with Guardian, it's just perceived as weak because hpr is nerfed right now. Even with Guardian levels of HPR, you can't really afk grind even if it worked properly.

    my point is, if raw hpr was unnerfed, you can afk grind with things like guard and maybe other gear. Tank Warrior with 415 or more HPR = never die. Even throw some agi in so that you might not take dmg at all for 4 secs

    Hm... how about no xp from mobs killed by thorns/reflection? (idk)

    Not really, I know I would still die, eventually anyways, as at some point the number of mobs would lead to death.

    Though yeah the option of having thorns give no xp is availabe. The issue with that is mobs killed with poison would give xp.

    To be honest though I'm not sure if anything besides aor gives enough hp Regen to Cuase a problem.
