Add Hot Keys!

So I was thinking, Imagigne if wynncraft had an option to add hotkeys? So I could either do left-right-left OR I can press F to do the same. I think this would be a great addition. Also, we could throw it into GamePlay update #2.

 

I mean clicking 3 times isn't that hard

 

Actually there should be a minecraft mod out there that enables macros. There's a video about it on youtube.

 

You join the game, and it turns "f" for example, into a control that does lrl

 

But how would the game understand you are clicking f

 

It automagically switches your controls.

 

I don't think Wynn can do that

 

Hypickle can though, im sure wynn can. (warlords)

 

But really all this work to save you 3 clicks

 

What about Macros? (Yes, those are allowed for Spells, as long as they are not in a loop).

 

they definitley need to do the option to rebound keys. everytime i try to do a uppercut, it does war scream instead

 

But not everyone here has macros.

 

Plugins can't listen for keys which aren't used for vanilla events. Like, a plugin can detect "f" as it is part of the event which occurs when the players swaps items but the plugin cannot listen for for example "g" as it is not an event. Same reason why middle mouse button is not part of the R-L-L pattern.

 

+0. I like the idea and I think it's great, because it prevents you from adding the wrong spell by accident, but I don't really understand the problem with clicking the mouse button 3 times.

 

True but sometimes it doesn't verify the click and I do the wrong spell

I have worked with minecraft plugin code for some time now, and I am almost certain that it is not possible.

 

He wants to make Wynncraft a copy of Warcraft!

 

Macros for spell combinations are allowed, but if you make a macro for afk farming, that's not allowed.
