dude that sounds like it would take so long
for a legendary with a 3 catch rate at full HP you're running I believe a 4/255 chance of catching it with one, and you only get one shot at a quick ball per battle...

It's not that bad, trust me. I have some extreme luck with Quick Balls and after 10 turns I begin timer balls. I do this without status conditions as well

Dusk Balls and Quick Balls for life

I have Pokemon Moon so Dusk Balls are a godsend

Anything but Pokeballs are a scam

Dusk Balls, quick balls and timer balls are by FAR the best.
