Can't See Mob/npc Names...

1.8.9 works but my fps goes down from 60(capped) to 30-40.... I geuss I'll have to get used to it...

I used to be able to see mob/npc names before Gavel and the texture pack came out, but now all I see is the mob/npc I have asked around and no one...
