World Better Lobby (40+ Supporters)

Before you read this suggestion, I would like to say that too many people have said that this should be done after Gavel (Obviously, I don´t want Gavel to take even longer, what are you thinking?), AND they also seem to think that I´m saying that the ENTIRE LOBBY should be rebuilt. I´m only saying that it could use A LITTLE editing.

Hi guys, today I'm, well, let's just get on with it.
So.
A lot of servers (Like mineplex, pls no h8) have a lot of lobby minigames.
What do we have?
Parkour.
Now I know that with Gavel they're working hard, but I think the lobby could use some more love. I mean, (no offense to Salted, who made the parkour) the jump lengths are the same! So as a result, when the servers are down, things get boring. (Especially when you're a VIP who can just fly up the parkour.)
I think that they should ad some games for each class. There already is an archery range, but I think that there should be a little PvP Area in the Warrior Guild Hall, the parkour could be made more difficult and moved to the Assassin guild hall, and a something in the Mage Hall. I play the little Soccer minigame on Mineplex sometimes and it's actually fun. So that's all for now, see yalls later, I will add a mage game when I think of one.

This could be a decent suggestion, if suggested after Gavel. I mean, do you want Gavel to take even longer?

 

Who knows, maybe a new lobby is already a thing in the Gavel update.

 

I didn't even know Wynncraft's lobby had parkour. O,o

 

I can't believe you have never looked behind you in the lobby...

 

No one's ever online, so I don't really play it.

 

The lobby is good enough as it is, it looks very impressive and it doesn't need mini-games in it to be a good lobby. A simple lobby with a lot to explore is more than enough, especially when it looks as good as Wynncraft's.

 

It is fun, but when you've explored the whole place it becomes very boring when you can't connect.

 

There are many things like this, which the admins would do, if they could turn off time.

Time is the biggest factor in this. The admins are forced to make tough decisions about what should be in the game, because they just don't have enough time and manpower to do all the things they want.
And since this doesn't have direct impact on gameplay, things like these are further down the list of things to do. (Not saying it's on the list)
You can imagine the item system, for example, is more important.

 

What @Cubie says is true. I agree with almost every post here, but I will guarantee you that something will change in the lobby, no matter how big or small that change is.

 

I do understand that, and know that this is pretty far down the list, but it would help a little. I wouldn't care if this suggestion was rejected, I'm just voicing my thoughts about the current lobby.

I like the current lobby and if the servers are down i just change to other game and return to wynn when servers work.... i like the parkour and i don't need more.I think lobby isn't meant to be like fancy AF i just choose the server there and go grind

 

The assassins game should be like Hide N Seek. Warrior's should be PVP. Archers... Well theyre obvious. And Mages should be like... Um.... Something that involves the Teleport spell.

Yeah its a good idea, and let anyone join any game!

 

The lobby is really well built, but its not the biggest. And Gavel is a very hard project. So admins, why won't you try get some more builders?

What if, every so often, there were lobby events? They'd happen at random, maybe a bunch of mobs attack the lobby for example. You could opt out of these if you wanted to, but it'd make the lobby a lot more interesting and it'd be a lot easier than making a new one.

 

These actually do happen. A mod (Usually AJ) will screw around in Lobby 1 sometimes and just do stuff. (E.g. Enderdragons, Lobby Swarms, PvP, destroying the lobby)
I also think you misunderstood the thread. I'm not saying we should make a new lobby, just add some stuff to it.
