Hello my name is thatswhatido and today I am here to show you a new idea
for items!

Many many times I have dropped my items because of accidentally clicking q
and that scares me when I drop my Lunar Spine on the ground.
This is where Item Locks comes in simply put your item in the crafting menu (in your hand) and it will lock. (as shown below) so that you have an insurance policy on the item you hold so dear!


✰Item Locks✰
Item Locks is a protection shield against accidental item loss.
Just put the item of your choice into the crafting square in your inventory/satchel and the item will be turned in a locked item. (Shown below)

✰Behavior✰
When an item is locked it will act like a quest item would, it cannot be dropped, traded, sold, or moved into any container.
These messages will appear in the chat box if you attempt to do anything that the Item Lock prevents.






✰Unlocking/Locking✰
As said above if you place an item into the crafting square in your inventory it will lock.
If you wish to unlock the item for any purpose just put it back into the crafting square and it will remove the lock.
These messages will appear in the chat box upon locking/unlocking.



✰Lockable Items✰
All items except quest items.

✰Upon Death✰
The new Soul Point system completely overrides locked items. Your locked items will drop just how any unlocked item would.

Would this be only upon perma-death, or upon a standard? Just wanted to clarify.

Revoted in support. Reason: I lost a nearly perfect Mythic Spear to an item frame during a glitch in permissions on the server during server maintenance, and I've lost a chestnut horse, either by dropping the saddle or by accidentally transferring it to an item chest.

We really need this. Too many players have accidentally dropped and lost items and this has the potential to fix a lot of those problems.
