In several MMOs I know there is some sort of crafting system for items. In wynncraft, there is a system to add powder attributes to weapons and armor.(At least for now, until Gavel comes out).

But I want a way for items to be crafted. Like if you have materials, you can go to a blacksmith place and you input the materials in a menu. After a minigame of some sort, an item pops out of the menu. It can either be pre-existing items, like Unique, Rare, or Legendary items. But you can also make Player items, which have random stats(depending on which materials you use) and can be named by the player (there can be a way for inappropriate things to be cut out of the item name)

If you want to make a suggestion we would appreciate it if you could put in some details.
Here's a few points to consider:
    • Where would you get the crafting materials? Mob drops and loot chests are probably a good place to start, and maybe a merchant.
    • How are the crafting materials going to work? What items are they going to be? Will they be level-specific, class-specific, etc? Are there going to be different classes of materials?
    • How would the crafting work? Do you input a set amount of items, or do you have to find specific parts? Is the rank of the crafted item randomized, or does it depend on what items you used to craft it?
    • Would the Player items be at a different merchant or use a different crafting process? How exactly would that work?

    - I thought you would get materials from like caves, loot chests, mob drops, or merchants and stuff like that,
-for crafting materials, i would think like some mob drops, iron, gold, (maybe custom ores), etc.I thought there would be different classes of materials, with higher class, the better item crafted would be.
-crafting would be at like a blacksmith place in villages or cities, where you input it the items in a menu when you right-click an anvil. You can choose what type of item it is (armor piece, what type of weapon) The rank depends on what items you used to craft it with.
-player items are same crafting process, they have randomized stats and a way for the player to name it.

I'm pretty sure that they had planned on adding a crafting system, but then they scrapped it. That's why old items say crafting item.
