A major issue me and many of my friends run into with Runes - Az, Nii, etc - is the fact that most of the time we have 3 separate stacks of runes that DO NOT stack no matter what fixes we may try. Which is why I feel we need an ingame solution for this issue, for which I present the idea of the Rune Pouch.

This pouch would be nearly identical to the Emerald Pouch in functionality, with the obvious change of holding runes. This would alleviate bank space usage on unstackable items. These pouches shouldnt hold a lot, no no. I'm thinking there could be 3-4 tiers ranging from holding like 3 stacks to 12 stacks of runes. Acquiring said pouch would of course be similar to emeralds pouches, finding it in chest's, or if we want to be thematic, get them as a raid reward.

While I know most people don't have issue with unstackable runes, its been a glaring issue for me and my guildmates/friends. I truly hope that a solution for unstackable items as a whole comes forward but until then this is my suggestion.

If it's possible, I feel like just making them have the same data (and thus be stackable) would be easier.

I once played on a server where dropping an item would update it's data.
While I have no idea how they did it, I'm throwing that out there that it IS possible to give users a way to update items to allow them to stack.

The downside? Dropping removed items on that server would make them poof.

I just wonder what sort of spaghetti is responsible for runes and keys having NBT data on where they came from.

It was me. I did it.

I think that this pouch could be expanded to have keys as well. Or better yet, maybe don't have any pouch at all and instead runes and keys go straight into your "account" like how Aspects work, removing the need for inventory space.

The problem with this idea is that runes and keys are tradable, and runes are used to purchase certain kinds of key.

Not going to lie, it's been a while since I considered The Forgery to be a worthwhile persuit. I don't feel the rewards line up with the amount of time for a run, compared to raids that use the same runes.

Which is a shame because the corrupted dungeons are GORGEOUS :hearteyes:Mad props to the builder team.
