SPOILER Zhiroak Nasin appreciation post

The more I play through Fruma, the more I realize how absolutely goated Sovereign Zhiroak is. Glaze incoming.

Firstly, we must look at the first impression of every sovereign. Soosu looks like a small child who should be in school learning basic math, not someone trusted with power over a region. Majin introduces himself as “Majin of House Thalas" which makes him sound like a nepo baby, and to top that off he looks like a twink. Gikyo looks like he's Geekyo (haha get it cause geeking please laugh) from Canned Abis 24/7. Then we look at Zhiroak. He's muscular, tanned, and remarakbly mentally stable when we compare him to to the other Sovereigns. He looks like he earnt his power.

Seconly, what really makes Zhiroak stand out is how he acts. He tries to improve the infrastructure and economy of the Auburn Forest, he gives Syndra a job and sympathizes with her. We can infer he cared for his people as we can see him mingling with commoners in the bar. He is always moving, always doing something important. He runs across the province trying to keep things under control. The glorious goat also shows that he is serious about his duty to the Queen and to Fruma. He made a master plan that should definitely have beaten the player during Echoes of Change if not for getting betrayed by Soosu.

Finally, he's not a sadistic tortuer who only wants to fight the weak like Gikyo, a narcissistic attention seeker like Majin, or a traitor like Soosu. He is loyal, compassionate, and strong. He is a good leader and a man I would certainly follow if circumstances were different.

I kind of disagree. In apotheosis he shows that he is loyal to Fruma first and foremost, and that, IMO, is precisely why he's laudable.

It occurs to me... Is Gikyo the only nb character in the whole game? What is it with them always being shapeshifter characters?

I feel you could argue that technically things like The Nameless are nonbinary because human gender binary could not hope to describe what their identity is. Same argument could be applied to the Orphion, because while Orphion uses He, I imagine that's just how he chooses to present himself as opposed to any internal gender feeling (and whatever his identity actually is indescribable with mortal gender concepts)
