I think you misunderstood. You interpreted this as an addition for a new mechanic as meme/joke suggestion and also is going to make people mad bc gambling. You mean the NPC I have advocated for the removal of and that we intentionally keep only there and with a very low cap on max stake to prevent it from actually being worth your time and just novelty.

We do not want to promote real world forms of gambling, which is partially why that blackjack NPC exclusively exists within the criminal den beneath Cinfras (You might remember that Spirits Festival had a blackjack dealer, but that would as removed from the game). He effectively only still exists because the game took a while to make and it would've been a shame to get rid of it entirely.
If you want to play blackjack on your housing, here's a better option: find a way to set it up yourself. I've seen people play entire chess games in housing, im sure you could find a way to represent each card, and the dealer's cards.

The harm is that it's gambling. If it was just blackjack without any money, then the only thing that would make me opposed to it is that it seems like an unnecessary addition. Maybe you forget that the majority of our playerbase are children.

You say drug, but it's herb, and the products are just plants with medicinal or holistic qualities and absinthe. Stuff like tingflower is just used in teas and causes a mouth numbing effect when consumed.
There is also a big difference from having drinking or smoking in a game, which are mature elements, because wynncraft certainly has drinking, gore, violence, and other potentially disturbing elements, and having gambling games. My issue is not portraying gambling, my issue is that playing blackjack for emeralds is identical to playing blackjack for money. You get the same brain responses, and it can still cause an actual gambling addiction (and it HAS).
If I take fucking... wynncraft's bluecap mushrooms, that isn't going to contribute to me getting an actual addiction. But if I was a kid with a forming brain and gambled through the game, I could very well develop an actual gambling addiction.
