Website & Forums Rework bug reporting

Chat, I hate the current bug-reporting system. See when you find a bug, you have to go to the forums, fill out some thread on the bug, and pray that people see it. When I report a bug, I feel like it is put into a black box, and there is no information on if my bug has been seen, is being worked on, or is fixed. All it does is send a copy of the bug report to your inbox, which honestly tells me nothing.

What I propose is that bug-reporting is possible in-game, and reporters should be able to track the progress of the bug. Truthfully this may be a bit too much work for the staff, but I think in it's current state I wont ever report non-game breaking bugs anymore, and I will reluctantly report game breaking bugs. Making it more transparent of a process and streamlining it would make it better for the end user.

If anything I would like to add a way for us to send an automated reply if it's
Seen (just a general flag. Its almost always seen because it shows up in our discord and is logged in a system, but it'd be good if players got the confirmation someone even saw it)

Known Issue (already reported)
or Not A Bug (I sometimes message people when they submit something that isn't actually a bug, but even then it takes a bit too much effort to just clarify that to the player)

Trying to manually reply to things is annoying. It's also unclear if someone else has reached out to do it already

 

Yeah if it were just some automated message indicating if its seen or fixed would be good enough, I wouldnt expect detailed messaging on every bug fix
