Unsustainable part of festivals

I made a thread about this on Discord, since I didn't have access to my forums at the time. Now I'm back.

Festivals generate a lot of items. These items have year tags, which means that item collectors and 100%ers will need to collect a set of all festival items every time it rolls around.

After this Blizzard, I found that the four bank pages I dedicated to Festival item storage were full. As a non, I only have access to two Misc. Bucket pages, which are also mostly full. I have some available slots for items, but if I used them, I would be breaking my organisation of keeping all Festival items on their specific bank pages.

Now, non-nons have access to more storage. This is meaningless long-term. Even a champion rank with a full-sized Misc. Bucket will eventually fill it up if they are constantly collecting Festival items, as is encouraged by the design of the Festivals. People in my thread were complaining about already having full Misc. Buckets, despite being ranked.

My proposal is that four Festival Boxes (or whatever mode of storage it would be) are added to Wynncraft. These are housing items that work like the Misc. Buckets, but can only store items from their specific festival. They expand with each new year that comes around, so there is no longer a problem with too little space.

Some possibilities as to the source and expansions:

• The festival boxes are bought from the Housing furniture shop, using Festival Currency from the minigame. (This serves to encourage more minigame interaction.)
• The festival boxes are bought normally.
• The festival boxes are bought normally, but only during their Festival.
• The festival boxes are rewarded from doing X task in the Festival, like getting most of the scavenger hunt complete.

• The festival boxes are expanded normally, using increasing numbers of emeralds. (Would become extremely expensive after a certain number of years had gone by.)
• The festival boxes automatically expand without expense by the player.
• The festival boxes are expanded using festival currency. The price doesn't go up, but you can't buy more pages then there have been years of festivals. (1 page/year might be a little bit too much, so perhaps it would be 0.5 page/year.)

 

Beg pardon, but the more places we have to put items, the harder it is to find stuff, I’m always losing things like that

 

festival of the blizzard has always been particularily bad with this, I don't think any other festival has even half as many items

i had to have 2 slots for EACH gift bc of '23 and '24
i had to throw out all my winter fair consumables i was collecting
I COULD go to my bank but it would ruin my SYSTEM
i dont even want to see whats gonna happen at heroes, which ive now done for 3 years
