World Maxie's Wedding

Ever since it was added, I was always bummed that you couldn't actually attend the wedding. SO, petition to make it so that there is a time frame in which if you speak to/travel with the Seaskipper Captain, he will give you the invite with the coords for the ceremony. If you miss the window then you get the already made scenario.

 

i had an idea similar to this: make the temple of time accept wedding invites and teleport you to the wedding

Nah. It'd mean players would be sad they missed a one time thing they likely wouldn't even be aware of, and if it was just possible to do any time to prevent that situation, it'd require the quest to be altered if you've done the wedding or haven't.
You missing the wedding is meant to be a joke; you were sent an invitation, it doesn't arrive in time, and then only after you learn about the wedding having happened do you actually get the invitation.

 

the whole missing the wedding as a joke thing bums me out so much, it would be so fun to have a quest where you had to plan Maxie’s and Rhey’s wedding but everything goes complete wrong and disastrous until the ceremony

let him cook also i remember there not being enough quests to help you level up around corkus level last time i got all quests done so more quests in that range are always nice

 

Time to add a quest where the player thinks they're attending the wedding but then suddenly mechs ambush the entire place and attack everyone and then it's soon revealed that somehow, Antikythera returned and is trying to kill Maxie for revenge so the player has to return to the Fallen Factory and climb up the now ruined-building but then surprise plot twist it was actually Wynnston puppeteering a fake Anti all along and was really mad at the player for killing him when they first appeared in the factory

But then you destroy the body and SURPRISE AGAIN it was actually Maxie that was controlling the fake Wynnston the whole time. This is the moment where the player finally encounters Maxie and questions him on why he attacked his own wedding

He then justifies that it was "really funny"

Then another plot twist it turns out that Maxie was a fake as well and the real mastermind was the Corrupted Renegade from King's Recruit (It all comes full circle absolute fiction peak cinema)
