    The current "star" system is pretty useless, its one of the main reasons I use Wynntils.

    - It is possible to 100% roll an ID and not even have a star appear
    -> A 100% roll can be 5 5* 5** or 5***
    -> (The current system bases the stars off of an internal roll thats pre-rounding to the actual ID value)
    - Negative IDs dont show stars regardless of their roll
    - Its impossible to differentiate rollable stats without a star and unrollable stats
    => Stars can at best give a vague overview of the quality of an items roll

    If you want an accurate assessment you need to either
    - find an unidentified and revealed version
    - look up the stats
    - install wynntils

    Unfortunately those methods can be inaccurate too when ID changes occur or it is a newly added item.

    An accurate in-game system would be much appreciated.

    the other day i got my friends to play wynncraft, and when they asked me what the stars behind the ids meant it was kind of weird to have to explain to them that you can have a max rolled identification without it actually having the 3 stars on it that indicate it being a max roll..

    ... and then they installed wynntils :D
