Game Mechanics Funny New Mythic Weapons (ET, TF, EF, EW, WA)

Hi forums you know how we have Quetzalcoatl (Earth/Air), Convergence (Water/Fire), Epoch (Thunder/Air), Oblivion (Thunder/Water) and Immolation (Fire/Air) as really cool dual-element mythic weapons with their own niches and gimmicks?

That means were missing Fire/Thunder, Fire/Earth, Earth/Water, Earth/Thunder and Water/Air as dual-element mythic weapons and it would absolutely be beneficial to start a race war to attain and inflate the market with suddenly extremely expensive items that will die down in value within a month or so (itd also be cool to have a complete set of dual-element weapons like how there are boots)

anyways i tried to come up with some, lore included featuring dawnbreak wand, warrior heavy-melee dream, orange lily 2, basic trickobat dagger and off-brand panic zealot. I don't know what the item team would cook but these are examples of what some could look like and what i thought would be cool and fun to use.

Love to see all these; been reading through your other design suggestions recently and oh man, it's all so inspiring.
Since I mostly play mage I'm looking at that wand and... really struggling to find where it fits, as a novice builder. Is it supposed to be something for rw or lb? Arc wouldn't really want a melee wand that gimps their spellcasting ability, lb would hate having ls due to it tampering with their healing ability, and rw wouldn't really want an effective sslow weapon to stack winded. Granted I'm probably hella missing something that a more experienced builder could look at and go "lol just do <><>" but I'm just... puzzled for now. What would you want a wand like that to do, if I may ask?

Discworld is a fantasy book series.
There's only 3 Realms, being The Realm of Light, The Realm of War, and The Realm of Dark, and 2 planes of existence, The Physical Plane/Plane of Physicality and The Plane of Influence.
Scrubbing out the cause of the Decay (The Parasites and its brood of dernmites) does not fix the Decay. It stops it from spreading, but the visible Decay is the absence of light and magic from the area, slowly being replaced with the influence of Dark. Killing all the parasites and contributors to the Decay does not change that the Light is gone from Kander, Dark Forest, and Olux, it merely means it won't continue to get worse. Light will have to slowly reclaim the area following the events of Nexus of Light.

Other worlds in wynncraft don't exist apart from that. There's pocket dimensions, like the areas you can get warped to by Gawrick, but there isn't other worlds apart from the physical plane and the world there, RoL, RoW, and RoD.

And if it's referring to an inclination to kill, that isn't something the Light cares about. The whole deal with the Guardian talking to Lari in RoL IV is to show that Orphion and the Light have no concept or care for any idea of ethics or morals, because they're beyond anything mortal, or even immortal.

 

Yea idk how to make annihilation suited for all mage archetypes so it leans more into arcanist instead which I thought would be ok since other mage mythics clearly have archetypes they're not *amazing for (quetzalcoatl lightbender) (lament arcanist)

Its mostly supposed to be hybrid/heavy-hybrid orientated, having melee-based ids which makes it good for either tierstack or heavy-melee (Pyrokinesis being a bonus too) but still high enough base dps to be used for spells. It was made with heavy-hybrid in mind mostly, especially with using Chain Lightning since chain lightning triggers lifesteal (which anni has) and mana steal (which alot of dex-based gear has). The good part about heavy-hybrid is that you're not always spamming main-attack since your attack speed is low so you can still get spells in while getting funny melee hits and big-damage chain lightnings in. Its something that I use with acolyte sunstar-dawnbreak and it feels VERY fun to use so I wanted mage to have something similar-ish. IDs wise the -int, -hp, and poison damage is from the corruption-theming, the life steal is to help with giving arcanist hp-sustain, the 3900 main attack raw for stronger melee (granted being roll-based) and the -meteor cost as flavor/to make the -int not *completely kill usage with riftwalker. I don't really see it being used as a lightbender weapon so its not made with it in mind.

The 'darker influences' part was something something that moment in journey beyond with how you aledar elphaeba and lucio have to get purified by dren as though darkness was an inherent thing alive beings have in their souls so I thought since the bow would be made out of something so close to the light, you cant have any of that in you to use it, unless all normal gavel-creatures don't inherently have darkness in them? I don't think it'd be referring to the inclination to kill or be evil tho either since as you said they don't care about that/morals.

 

That's not canon and is going to get removed soon. It was a miracle it made it into the quest and stayed in game for so long to begin with

 

Hey I made these a while ago as well, but there weren't balanced for the str-dex changes. So I changed them up a bit. Anyway, these are my suggestions:

What's wrong with that? Naming a weapon after a popular piece of media whose name sounds like it fits feels like something I would also do

Besides, I haven't read Discworld but from what little I know about it it feels like the item's lore is a reference to said story
