Game Mechanics Pls level down the golems in the emerald maze...

The quest is lv 52 why are the golems lv 70??? I struggled a ton at it and even at lv 57 i kept dying and lost half my travel scrolls, even the ones to Cinfras i got there underleveled.

 

Why are you doing this quest on low sp?

The reason they're overleved is to make the challenge about avoiding them, rather than direct confrontation, like The Mercenary. If you know the path and have good mobility, you can outrun them. Sure, you're going to die a ton. But you won't lose anything if stay on high sp.

If this is about hardcore, then I don't think you should be doing this quest at level for hardcore anyway.

and also, now im lv 76 so i should try it again
Also wondering why are the lv 64 quest monsters so bad, at realm of light 3 i keep dying for no reason

 

Theyre not literally level 70, they're just labelled as 70 for purposes of intimidation, and to convey to you that they're too strong for you to currently fight, just like how the sea monster in Misadventure at Sea is level 50.

You might be using outdated gear for your level.

 

No offense but most level 60-70 gear are basically trash.

That Warden of Wisdom is very strong for some reason.
Btw what is your class and build?

 

a) “most gear” in that level range is not “basically trash”. Maybe if you’re exclusively using uniques and normals, but I had to actively use lower-level gear at this point in the game to not be completely overpowered. Like - any build utilizing several legendaries at this level should be able to frankly shred most content without my difficulty.
b) yes the warden of wisdom is hard but not unfairly so - it’s just a difficult boss

 

Compared to what? Higher level gear? It's obviously not going to be as good as later game stuff.

It's the main boss of the quest. It's strong because it's meant to be a harder fight.

 

Many lv40-55 Gear have much better mana regen and xp bonus

Are you saying that Adamantite, Blood Moon, Cattail, Carpace, Chakram, Helm Splitter, (insert several more legendary items here), Psychomend Vest, the full Saint's set, Talisman Charm, Trainer's Pendant, Archangel, Purity, Ring of Generosity, The Jingling Jester, (insert even more legendary items here, including Blue Mask my beloved), most of the Ultramarine set, most of the Visceral set, and many more are trash?

Edit: I forgot about Mirror's Edge, Impact Winter, Hesperium, Phage Pins, Roiling Ruckus, Plague Staff, Renda Langit, Symbiont, Dragon's Eye Bracelet, Draoi Fair, Eyes on All, and Pure

A lot of these pieces of gear are used even in endgame builds, and you're saying that they're trash?
