Hunted Mode and Gathering...

I really would like to see hunted mode changed. Mostly because my only experiences with hunted mode where getting murdered whilst gathering. Seriously, is that the only thing hunted mode is for? To make people obliterate defenceless, gathering players and make the gathering experience even worse?
Especially when you lose your gathering equipment and have to buy it all over again. That's really expensive oof.
I think the gxp Bonus should be seperated from hunted mode.
I think hunted mode should make a good pvp experience with fair fights. Maybe give the hunted mode players a special ability that is cool for PvP only while they're in hunted mode.
The gxp-boost should be removed from hunted mode in my opinion and instead Gathering should be improved in general.
You could probably improve the gathering experience just by lowering the XP requirements to level up. Or you could change the whole gathering system for example by removing the XP leveling and instead you'd have to craft the higher (non basic) gathering tools whith different materials and ingredients to reach a certain tool strength. And you could only gather higher level materials if your tool strength is high enough.
Until hunted mode gets changed it will only be a pleasure to those who like unfair fights and a big annoyance to those who want to level up their gathering professions.
I hope this feedback can somehow support the general wynncraft experience.

If you are in gathering gear you are obviously not going to be as strong as the player in combat gear. There is going to be uneven grounds, that is the risk of choosing to gather in prof armor, you aren't going to be as strong as someone who chose to attack you in combat gear

Though hunted should see a remake, your reasoning doesn't make much sense. Even if hunted mode is changed, hunted players who arent using combat builds will invariably be at a disadvantage to those who are

 

But why is gxp bonus connected to hunted mode anyway?
I mean if Im trying to level up professions Im obviously taking every gxp boost I can get and Im obviously not trying to fight anyone. I just dont understand why hunted mode gives a gxp bonus.

 

But to be fair, if that is my argument you could probably say that they are seperate problems. In my opinion the gathering experience is the bigger problem. There should probably be a change on gathering in general so players that want to level up dont have to either use hunted mode or invest countless hours of their lifetime and their sanity.

Also correct me if Im wrong but I dont think there's anybody leveling gathering professions without gxp armour. Even with the aproximate 150 % extra gxp Bonus gathering is still a very long and boring thing to do. I can't even imagine how long it would take without gxp armour.

 

You do realize there's a whole special challenge mode that revolves around leveling professions at every stage of the game, right? And when combined with ironman, players have to level professions using only gxp gear they've crafted themselves.
Plus, Hunted is meant to be a high risk, high reward gamemode. You get an additional 50% xp and gxp, but people are actively trying to kill you and take your stuff.

 

Does Craftsman improve the gathering-experience? Im honestly asking this question because i've never tried it myself. If Craftsman makes gathering a quicker process you probably wouldn't need to use the gxp from hunted mode. But if there are no gxp or gathering speed buffs from Craftsman, wouldn't that make the gathering-leveling-experience even worse, because you cant use the lvl 105 gxp gear from the beginning. I mean even with a full gxp set and hunted mode leveling up one singular gathering profession to level 100 still took me over 8 hours (This is no exagguration, I legit stopped the time). Would it not take even longer to level up the gathering professions if you couldn't use the high level gxp gear from the beginning? (I would really like to be disproved if Craftsman really improves the gathering experience, because it would mean I could actually have fun gathering XD)

Nope, craftsman just means u can only use crafted armor and weapons so it doesn’t make gathering any easier
