Game Mechanics Trash can

there are times when i want to get rid of an item. but i dont like dropped items as the entity can add to server lag, random floating entities do not look nice. ultimately my magnet sometimes causes it to re-enter my inventory.
i also play modded minecraft. and theres one item i ALWAYS craft ASAP. a trash can.
it functions like a chest, and when the UI is closed. it gets cleared.

so like my title say, i would like to request a trash can command.

 

1. Dropping items will not kill the server
2. Magnet does not attract items dropped by the player.
3. If your mods are crashing you when fropping an item, consider removing or updating the mod (my mod knowledge is like 0, so take this with a grain of salt.)
4. If you want you can open a random chest and put extra items in it.

 

1) dropped items do effect ticks, but it only becoles noticable when around 10k are dropped at once, at least on modded MC thats how it works.

3) by modded minecraft, im talkign true modded, like MC eternal or RLcraft modpacks.
4) is what i try to do. but there are times when i need to drop (tower of ascention and all those shard things you need to proceed are 12 example)

 

In what world are you ever dropping even a thousand items

No, but they have a nasty habit of getting back in my inventory

 

Just go into your housing and drop items on the floor and leave. The items are gone.

 

still takes 10 extra second than this command

 

Dropping the item on the floor without going to housing or anywhere takes 1 second

 

Item entity lag is the wrong point to bring up here as it is a non-issue (since Wynncraft clears all entities in unloaded chunks so item entity counts would almost certainly never reach problematic levels) and makes people here question your sanity, and thus fails to communicate your true point of this suggestion across, which is:
There is currently no way to effortlessly get rid of items anywhere without the items getting picked back up.
