World The exit from Boss Altars should be closed while the boss is alive

The amount of times I accidentally launched myself to the exit of Tribal Sanctuary is annoying. This would be a good QoL change.

It don't have to be complicated. It can just be like in Bottomless Pit where the boss drops the key to the exit.

Definitely.
You're not even gonna leave until you kill the boss anyway. Also, the way it is currently removes the sense of tension that the boss is holding you in there, and that you have to kill it to escape.

 

Damn I forgot to consider that some might wanna bail out of a boss altar. I made this post while I was frustrated lol.

As much as I agree with you I also want to consider that soul points is still a thing in the game. Not being able to leave can single-handedly ruin a whole class profile, particularly for beginners, which is a lot more frustrating than what I went through. (Panic Zealot is a valid exception cuz it fits the theme and it's late game anyways)

But to be fair Boss Altars are optional. Not only do you have to look for it, but you also need to gather materials to access it. I think putting them in an "optional tab" (amongst other stuff like Secret Discoveries) in the Content Book will alleviate some issues that may arise when adding this suggestion to the game.

Still, I doubt anyone would attempt a boss altar at 6 SP or below.

Boss altars are supposed to be the hardest challenges in the game and completely optional, it makes no sense for them to be one of the only places where you can just walk out of a bossfight without having to fight
