Progression Will The New Armor Trims be added to Wynncraft?

I know Wynncraft wants to be the most Default Minecraft possible but now that Minecraft it self will have tons of armor Variations will Wynncraft fallow suit and make some of their more iconic armor not just look like every other diamond armor? i have been trying to get all my friends onto this game but I always get the same feedback that they don't feel the game progression because they always look the same for each 20 levels. armor trims would spice this a lot.

 

I dont think its possible to add them to wynn right? Because they are 1.20 but wynn operates on a base of 1.9? or can you still do that?

So yes they can figurately speaking add features from future Minecraft updates but if you run wynncraft on version 1.12.2 or any version before 1.20 then you will not have the armor trims show up for you. also wynntils normally runs the game on version 1.19 and do update their software with the latest Minecraft version. so if wynncraft divs doesn't add this then Wynntiles might just do it for their addon.

 

With wynn dropping support for older versions i guess its not impossible, but im unsure what purpose trims would serve in wynncraft. If they upgrade to newer versions I’m pretty sure they can just apply custom textures to armour anyway (correct me if im wrong about this). Applying custom textures to every piece of armour would also be a very time consuming task, though i suppose by using 7 or so generic models (neutral, rainbow, 5 elements) like the weapons it would lighten the load.
Im not expecting anything to be done with armour trims, but I don’t see it as an impossibility.

 

We can't add armor trims.

 

They can't add the 1.20 armour trims, if they did they'd have to upgrade the entire server to be in 1.20. If they wanted to add some customisation to what armour looked like is maybe using durability or dyed leather armour to adjust what it looks like. I don't know much about resource packs but that's the best they could do if we wanted something like this.
