Certain quests require helmets to be worn in order to proceed. The climbing helmet is needed to climb up Maro Peaks, a breathing helmet is needed for the Underwater & Underice quests, and the Helmet of Legends is needed to complete the Temple of Legends quest.

A big part of Wynncraft is the builds that players make; By forcing players to wear quest helmets, it has the possibililty of breaking their build. Removing a helmet that adds skill points can cause a domino effect where it renders other armors unuseable due lacking the skill requirement to wear them.

I understand that what I am arguing for is very circumstantial; however, I believe there is a better way to go around this without neglecting the possiblility that it can break someone's build.

Instead of changing their helmets, players are given quest items that when present in their inventory, allows them to bypass certain areas. These items work similar to Charms; as long as it is in a player's inventory, it will allow them to proceed to certain areas according to that item.

    Ideas:

Climbing Helmet --> Climbing Rope | Lore: Obtained from Hallfred as a thank you gift for bringing peace between the Nodguj and Dujgon nations.

Breathing Helmet I --> Snorkel | Lore: Sayrr's old Snorkel. It reaks of gudgeon, gross!

Breathing Helmet II --> Magical Snorkel | Lore: A snorkel imbued with Wynnic magic, it allows you to breathe longer than your average snorkel.

Helmet of the Legends --> Emblem of Legends | Lore: A magically infused emblem that radiates glimmering light and shields against corruption. A relic fit for heroes and legends.

a few quests have been doing this, for example Royal Trials, which used to require that you wear a helmet called Female Pirate Wig, but now just says that you put on a disguise. I was really disappointed to see Hunger of Gerts part I continue to use quest helmets after its rework, though.

Hunger of Gerts are the only quests that make sense to have a quest helmet, since half of the first quest is trying to figure out how to blend in.
