Suggestion Minions

my idea is to make minions similare to in hypixel skyblock on the personal housing since it would make a resson to spend time and money on housing this would be a new way to make money and a new place to max out and spend time in. since many players have the best armours and mythics this would also make housings more worthwhile would incentivize players also to make a home on the housing plot in a world where there is no to be found

 

what are your thoughts im curious about what you think

 

What exactly would the minions do? Mine cobble? Maybe they could be decoration because it would be cool to keep unequipped pets in housing.

 

sooooooo. uh. i appreciate your bravery for suggesting this. And it would be a great suggestion but there are few reasons why this probably wont be added or accepted:

first my personal dislike of anything skyblock related (except their dungeons), this is obviously a personal bias and it doesnt matter.

1. (real reasons start now) Unlike in skyblock, gathering materials for crafting is much quicker in wynncraft, although acquiring the t3 materials are pretty hard. In any case, minions would most likely NOT produce t3 mats because they would crash the t3 market but if they didnt produce t3s they would crash the already low priced t1 and t2 markets.

2. Idle production and having something to "max out" and optimize doesnt really seem wynncrafty. When you say "many players have best armors and mythics so they should add minions for more stuff to do" this isnt a good reason to add idle production, another thing to grind for. A much better idea would be something with more fun content like the upcoming lootrun update or work toward Fruma.

3. If this was meant to let poor players make more money, its basically the same approach toward professions except instead if a grind, if your really unwilling to manually upgrade, it would be a really long wait while the minions produced enough material to upgrade themselves. If you wanted a poor people money making method, the new lootrun update seems promising.

If this was instead, a building block offline producer, something that made blocks for placement in housing, that would be great! however as an idle material production source, i dont think so.

 

yeah im starting to see the holes in my suggestion and how the economy would crash etc but i still think housing should be more in line with the natural progression of the game

 

Housing is ment for chilling with a build that you made and preparing for stuff like raids and forgery etc.

 

its an optional thing u can do on the side and i would like to keep it that way
