World Make Discovery/Quest Cutscene Boxes Bigger

In a lot of discovery and quest cutscenes, the barrier boxes the player is put in are only 1x1, and this makes cutscenes annoying to do with friends, as they can't all do it at the same time on the same world or their vision will be blocked by everyone else. Yes, I know players are made translucent in spectator mode, so armor being removed can prevent this, but that's annoying, and could sometimes result in death if mobs spawn where the cutscene exits. So, I suggest the boxes that are currently 1x1 or anywhere on the smaller side should be made a bit bigger. 2x2 or 3x3 would probably be sufficient, maybe make them more than 2 blocks high as well. That's it, just a small QoL suggestion that shouldn't take too long.

 

the better solution here would be to make players fully invisible in those boxes (which is something we can do)
could you let me know what cutscene boxes dont make you invisible? its an easy change if i know where to look

 

Some of the ones in the Dark Descent and Studying the Corrupt quests don't.

 

I mean, I think most of them make the player's skin invisible (even though you can see your skin transparent in F5, it's completely invisible to other players, am I understanding that right?). But it seems like armor is still shown in most cases. Or is armor only shown on the client side as well? I know for sure players aren't fully invisible in cutscenes in The Dark Descent (armor is still shown), which I see Sir_Doomed mentioned, but I don't know about any other cutscenes with that issue at the moment. I'll be doing Wynn Plains discoveries with friends soon though, so I'll see if we're all fully invisible to each other in those cutscenes.

So, I shouldn't even be able to see my own armor in F5?

 

I don’t think that would matter if the problem is that you can’t see because of other peoples armor

 

you'll be able to see yourself. you just won't be able to see other players
