World A few changes to how boss fights should work

    1: make minions despawn/die when the boss is defeated
    The number of times I've been killed or seen people get killed by Convec Monocytes after killing Vulcor Andrenophage while they were scrambling to pick up the drops is too many, especially given how hard that fight is. This would be a fairly small QoL change that would really take away a lot of frustration.
    Dungeon bosses avoid this by teleporting you out of the boss room as soon as the boss dies and putting the drops directly into your inventory, but I kind of prefer being able to actually walk out of the boss arena since it feels a bit cooler.

    2: remove exits to boss arenas that are open while the boss fight is ongoing
    Almost all boss altars have these, as does Matryoshka Idol. Why do these exist? I've never been in a situation where I wanted to use one of these. When you go through the very specific steps required to start a boss altar, it's usually because you want to fight the boss, not take a look at the boss and then leave or something.
    These exits make bosses feel much less threatening, since they take away the feeling that the boss wants you to die and won't let you escape unless you kill it. They also create the incredibly awkward and upsetting situation where you are making good progress on a boss you've had trouble with only to suddenly get kicked out of the arena by a push spell or something.
    Having an animation of the exit openning would also make it feel more exciting when you beat a boss altar, since right now almost all bosses just die when you beat them, which is kind of boring.

    3: the pricing for boss altars makes no sense
    This one only applies to boss altars.
    For some reason, right now the hardest altars are the most expensive and the easiest ones are the cheapest, why? This is just a giant middle finger to everybody doing the harder boss altars, especially ironman players. The hardest bosses are the ones you'll have to attempt the most times before you defeat them, so the number of times you'll have to pay the entrance fee is greater. If Tribal Sanctuary costed 12 Zombie Eyes to enter instead of 4, there wouldn't be very much of a difference, because that altar is unlikely to take anyone more than 2 or 3 attempts at the most, whereas Panic Zealot costing 6 Soul Essences rather than, say, 4, is the difference between one LE getting you 9 runs and 13 runs, all of which you are going to need (at least, all of which some players will need; I can at least say from experience that I've died to Panic Zealot more than 13 times without having soloed it once).

    Personally I'd be in favor of a system where you only have to pay once for a boss altar, then you can run it and die as many times as you like, and you only have to pay again if you finally beat it and then come back to do it again, since this would avoid discouraging bad players from doing the boss at all as the current system does, while still preventing level 105s from destroying the economy with high-tier ingredients.
    But that isn't happening, so at least it would be nice if boss altars were priced more reasonably.

    All of these are pretty neat qol ideas. Really the only one I'm not really super enthusiastic about would be boss altar prices as they are more reasonably priced imo, but I can also see why you shouldn't have to pay for other attempts if you fail it.

    They should make the alters kinda like panic zealot, where the boss drops the key to the exit so you don’t accidentally go in the exit

    I can see that being the case. My experience has been that it's quite easy especially after the nerf, but obviously this can vary a lot between players.
