New recipe book

I think that the recipe book should be turned into a wynncraft crafted item recipe book.
There are definitely issues with this idea but its just an idea

 

I don't think you understand how crafting works in Wynncraft

I don't see a viable way to do this in-game, since click-detection for GUI that isn't exactly an inventory slot is next to if not impossible. What is more likely to be done is a recipe book at crafting stations, in your quest book, or both. A mod like wynntils would then be able to make that button sync with said recipe book, but the feature on its own in vanilla is not doable like that.

I think they wanted more of a directory of all of the ingredients on one page, with a filter and all. Wynninv already does this, but still.

 

Ok, then what would show up in the crafting menu??

 

there are 2 slots on the left for the required materials to make the item
then there are 6 slots to the right of that for ingredients to give that item effects
to the right of that there is a tick to craft the item.
to the right of that is the output.
I am not stupid.

That's not what I was asking.

That doesn't work with the crafting book. It requires a recipe in a 3x3 crafting grid and an output.

 

But what i was suggesting is that the crafting book shows you the base materials needed to craft an item, eg: 1 wood, 2 string
and maaayyyybbeee it has a few ingredients in there too, with no crafting recipe but it just shows the item, its effects and where to get it in a short 'blurb'
So basically it is a material list for those crafted items.

Yeah. You can't do that with the recipe book.
