    Some spells and things like Twain's arc or Vanish are cool, but they feel very inconvenient at times. So I have a few suggestions to make them more fun to use. Also some other random suggestions I guess.
    The main issue I have encountered with the vanish ability is that sometimes I do NOT want to vanish and only use the dash. However, the game forces me to use up the vanish anyways and put it in cooldown.

    So here is my suggestion to fix that: Make vanish only trigger if you are shifting while casting a dash. That way you can use the dash without unnecessarily spending the vanish.

    I've been running into the following issue with this ability: Both the powder special and Twain's arc use the same input, shift + right click. This is a poblem, as sometimes I don't want to use one and instead I want to use the other.

    So here is my suggestion to fix that: Make powder specials in archer be casted through shift + left click. That way you can use both options without having one override the other, as it currently does.

    Same issue as with vanish. Sometimes I just want to cast a war scream to get rid of some pesky weak mobs since it is an omni-directional attack but in the proccess I activate these abilities unwillingly.

    So you know what the suggestion is already. Make the abilities only trigger when shifting, or allow us to not spend said abilities if we shift while casting the spell.

    This suggestion mostly addresses the early game. Lacerate replaces Spin Attack almost inmediately and unlike Spin Attack, it isn't omnidirectional, so you have to be facing the enemy to land the attack. Just a few issues: You won't be able to fly nor hit from the air at all at level 20. You also won't really have the mana to sustain such gameplay. This means that this ability is basically a downgrade early on. At least that's how it has felt to me.

    So my suggestion to fix this is: Allow to cancel the movement from Lacerate only if shifting while grounded. Stressing the shifting while grounded part because otherwise, this would kill the synergy between Lacerate and Righting reflex that you get to enjoy a bit later in the game. The latter only matters when already in the air so if it is limited to the ground, this change should not interfere with said ability.

    The point of this change is to allow more control over the ability in order to not make it feel like such a downgrade compared to Spin Attack. Adding this would make the ability more versatile and much more useful during the early game without killing the capacity of acrobat to fly later on.

    This quest is level 38. And it unlocks a travel option and an entire sub-section of the Rymek Canyon. Right when you are basically done with the area. This quest, in my opinion, should be lower level. I think that it should be, if anything, the first quest you unlock in the area. The reason is because doing so would make the elevators a lot more useful. You can only use them after finishing the quest and by that point you are basically 100% done with the Rymek Canyon, ready to either head to Nesaak or start setting foot on Gavel.

    So I think this quest should be lowered somewhere around levels 30-35. That way, you could use the elevators to speed things up when going to Rymek to buy a pink wool for The Wrath of the Mummy, for example. The fact this quest is level 38 and not, let's say, level 34, is kind of a waste.

    In exchange, to not overflow the early level 30s with quests, Tribal Aggression could be lifted up to level 38. Both this quest and Canyon Condor are also very old and definitely call for remakes as much as Lost Tower too, and with a potential remake they could be reworked to make use of the elevators by forcing you to do some things on both levels of the canyon.

    In short: Make Canyon Condor an early level 30s quest so that we can actually make use of the elevators during the levels which the canyon offers content for.

    One thing that I’ve noticed is that acrobat‘s ability to slow fall while sneaking activates when sneaking near the edge of a hillock and moves you around
    It’s not a huge deal, but it’s a bit annoying

    Holy fuck yes, PLEASE!

    I felt the same way when I first started using heavy melee archer in 2.0 but I don't particularly mind it now. Before I wanted to "save" my Quake special but I believe there's little point in that as Quake (or even Courage/Chain Lightning) will contribute significantly to your DPS.

    My bigger issue with Twain's Arc is getting bombarded by mobs sometimes. I don't feel like Snow Storm is impactful enough to offset this problem.

    Shift war scream to NOT activate Corruption.

    I also have already gotten used to this but I still would prefer to be able to use one without losing access to the other. Also, Quake does add quite a bit of DPS to my build and it is an AoE which is a very useful ability to have when all your decent attacks hit one enemy only and you only get to attack once every two seconds.
    Yeah, I don't really care if shifting or not shifting is what triggers it or not, what matters is that there is an option to not consume the ability unnecessarily.

    Pretty sure it is not, I'm pretty sure it triggers every time you use war scream whether you like it or not.

    I think it should be the other way around, so shift+left for Twain's Arc. I think it would be more 'consistent', since Twain's arc is more like a spell and thus it makes sense to cast with left click and powder special is more like a main attack and thus it would make more sense to be casted with the main attack button like with the other classes.

    I agree, however I think Kingdom of Sand also makes sense to be the first quest. It takes you from the desert to Rymek and back, which is a nice introduction to the mesa. Canyon Condor has you start in Rymek and if it would be the first quest in the mesa, you would have to go to Rymek for the quest without ever having been there before, which would probably feel less natural.
    However, then there is only one quest left in which you can use the elevators, which isn't a lot. Maybe the mesa could get an extra quest? It now only has three and the location has much potential imo.

    Same as what I said above for war scream. I don't really care which one changes, I just want them to not be casted the same exact way.
    Over all the Canyon is a bit dry in terms of content and the content there is is from like, 2014 mostly. I definitely think this area should get a bit of a rework like the Kander Forest did.

    adding onto this, i really dislike when shields override active shields even when they're already full or have enough charges to not make a difference
    it'd be nice if it only activated when you dont have shields on - otherwise you just reset the cooldown without any benefit meaning you might not be able to put them on when you may later need them
    a minor issue perhaps, but be it a qol change or otherwise it'd be appreciated

    good suggestions, hope this gets noticed

    Adding my idea would actually fix that issue, since you could just cast the war scream that doesn't trigger the effects to not refresh it.

    The canyon could definitely use a visual update too yes. The tunnels that take you up aren't nearly as visible as they should be and Rymek is way too overdetailed, it is very exhausting to look at.

    I don't like having to shift to cast everything im not gonna lie
    like shift casts are cool and all when you are not also trying to actively move at the same time

    bakals maybe could be shift but I don't think mantle should be lol
    also lacerate needs help in general tbh

    True, though isn't that because the game still runs in 1.8.9 (not that you can play in said version but as in, the game acts like it is still 1.8.9) or something like that?
