Fix offhand, delete sprint timer.

Recently I had top tier emerald pouch that someone else gifted to me. Since I was new, I decided to put it in my offhand. Then the game crashed. So long story short, that expensive pouch and 9 stacks of emeralds in it were gone. Forever. I suggest that we stop items from being able to be placed in the offhand, a bit like Bedrock edition.

I find the sprint timer quite annoying. When I play minecraft I just want to enjoy myself. I don't want to have to stop and stand around for 30 seconds every minute. Good job on the rest of the server!

The sprint meter was added since the hunger bar is mana for spells, and sprinting used to deplete mana before the sprint meter was added (and that was cruel). Having an infinite sprint also is overpowered, just look at Riftwalker's Time Dilation (+10% walk speed per second while sprinting, caps at 300%, and this effect is given to allies following you). The speed boost from sprinting is massive and items do exist in game to extend the duration and increase the regeneration speed. You can also use items to increase your walk speed to compensate for no sprinting. You don't have to stand completely still to refill the sprint meter (you can keep walking), as long as you're not sprinting, it'll recharge

Regarding the offhand, I don't think there's much we can do about that. The off hand slot is simply a feature of Minecraft (and putting items in that slot just throws them out of your inventory) so mechanically, I'm not sure it's possible to even change it to completely restrict items from being placed in it. I don't know much about it though

 

I think that just allowing items to be placed in the offhand would be a fix. Not an elegant one, so it's understandable to not implement.
As for sprint meter, it's necessary but painful, and it would be nice to have it regenerate a bit faster. At the same time, that is an ID, so yeah.

 

I agree with what you said. I think that having a working offhand in Wynn is too OP, so blocking items from going in would be a good fix.

 

Items are blocked from going there. If you try to put an item in your offhand it won't go in.

 

No, it gets thrown out of your inventory, which could be a problem if someone picks up your valuables.

 

If you press "F" then nothing will happen, because Wynn blocks the F key from working. However, if you manually open up your inventory and put the item in your offhand slot then it will be thrown out as Jaguar said.

 

There's a timer on the item before other people can pick it up, and nobody other than you can pick up liquid emeralds you've thrown on the ground

 

sprint bar is fine could be a bit more charge but horse at level 13

The sprint bar could definitely last a bit longer.

 

Most of the items that give you sprint regen and more sprint capacity are either only agillity related items or items that are bad in combat
