    Edit: It has been made abundantly clear that this was not as simple as I thought. I was not aware of how difficult it was to code things.

    Everyone knows the TNA fight can be cheesed by wall hugging. Simple solution: Anti-Stuck AI. If Greg detects that it is not moving then it begins to move toward the center of the arena for x amount of time (I say 3-5 seconds). This stops people from abusing the barriers and allows Greg to keep fighting. One problem may be that when Greg is stunlocked the AI might trigger but I don’t really see that happening cause Greg would still move between hits, even for a little bit.

    I like the idea of this but then comes the issue of dealing with Lure. We already lost paladin agro so if Trickster gets its own agro overridden by this concept then it'll lose one of the only good aspects about it.

    Tbh if it was possible to spawn void holes next to walls then wall hugging wouldn't be an issue, so I really hope they can try to find a fix for that if possible

    I don’t think Lure would be overridden as long as you aren’t wall abusing. And if it does you can make Argo stay the same but Greg is forced to move in another direction for 5ish seconds (kinda like a fear in some other video games)

    make it so that, once you are within 2 blocks of a wall, a void hole spawns in place of the barrier wall. entering the void hole has the same effects as the ones on the floor. not only would this stop wall huggers, but it would also add some extra difficulty to the fight

    Or just… remove the barrier wall

    Move it like ten blocks away from the actual arena ledge and add an invisible floor like one block below said ledge so the boss going off the ledge is fine while players stepping onto the invisible floor get the Void Hole effect

    Actually fairly interesting.
    I don't think it would work exactly how you worded it, but I get the idea.

    There's a reason we haven't gotten any new mob AI types since Gavel, y'know. They're way more complex to work with than you'd think.

    I’m not sure how it works but wouldn’t it just be something along to lines of: if velocity 0 then move in x direction of x number of ticks? If not then please correct me. I can sort of understand why it would be hard though.

    Just remove the barriers that can stuck it - this problem is only exclusive to TNA. Way easier than coding a completely new AI or thinking of how to nerf the only tank class to the floor.

    I think the problem with removing barriers is that it opens up an opportunity for the player to get out of bounds (even if there is nothing but void below)

    Ah yes the
    Code:
     if broken(){fix();}
    solution. Doesn't exactly work this way, I am sure the mob ai is spaghetti code.

    They could give Greg more crowd control spells like teleport and heavy pull.

    Realistically the wall issue could just be solved by making the arena perfectly rectangular, or by making the edges of the arena damage players who stand there too long.
