Currently the only real (official) guild “activity” is guild wars. While there are guild objectives… yeah let’s just say guild wars. This is fine for bigger guilds who have the manpower and skill to participate however it leaves small guilds nothing to do (Yes I know many guilds do community events but that’s not the point here). Today I am going to share my ideas on some (*official) guild activities.

The idea here is that every guild member has the option of doing a rotating PvE activity daily/weekly. Completing the activity will give a personal reward as well as a point number based on how well you did. Some more perceptive members of the audience may immediately see that bigger guilds would naturally get more points. The simple solution is to make the number of points a guild gets each activity an average of the total guild member’s points. This means that smaller guild will have the same, or an even higher chance of getting a high leaderboard ranking. The guild reward system would work the same as guild wars.
#1 A boss battle giving the player a set build.
    #2 Parkour with special twists.
    #3 A randomly generated puzzle
Pros: Gives every guild a chance to get on the leaderboards. Cons: Some guilds may tell players not to participate in order to raise the average

Each guild is given a Boss that your guild members must kill for rewards. The “tag team” come from the fact that only one person at a time may damage the boss. With a cooldown between fights it will be a hard fight. Once the boss dies players who damaged the boss will be rewarded based on damage or number of fights they participated in.
Bosses will have very high health (Scales based on number of players in a guild). Damages will be slightly higher then a regular boss fight in order to prevent a boss solo. (All boss stats will be scaled based on the player fighting it)
Pros: It is a way for every player to participate in a fun boss fight. Cons: Good mythics may ruin balance.

(This suggestion is inspired by Albion Online) Guilds are all given the option to join one of three factions: Wynn, Gavel, and Corkus. These factions compete in controlling territories by placing hideout throughout their provenance. Taking opponent hideouts allows you to place a hideout in their province. Participating in these fights earns you rewards like emeralds or items.
In order to find hideouts you must flag for your province allowing you to see hideouts. Flagging, however, opens you up to PvP (PvP must be balanced for this to work). Once you find the hideout you can flag a battle for other provincemates can join in on. Inside the hideout is a boss that is very difficult and can require many people to kill. Scoring will occur the same way as guild wars. Rewards are given through PvP and capturing hideouts.
Pros: Allows for PvP and exploration. Cons: Dominated by high level players. Makes zero sense lorewise.

i think a sort of guild dungeon could be neat
like an alternatvie to guild wars thats less competitve and more grindy

you enter a guild dungeon, and it's semi randomly generated
    with like
mob room -> parkour room -> mob room -> parkour room -> boss room
builds would be diff for each part, but the boss may not be as random or smth
    idk just an idea
would still be for level 100+s, but be less competitve, as rewards wouldnt be based on a leaderboard
    ________________________________
also these ideas are very cool, but they don't address the core issue that guildwars cause
as everything is based on leaderboards, smaller guilds still won't be able to compete and get good rewards
    take #1
just like a larger guild can do the rotating pvp activity more, smaller guilds will do it less
just like how larger guilds can do wars more, smaller guilds cant
anything with leaderboards in guilds will have the same core issue as guild wars do

instead, there should be smth more grindy yet non-competitive, so each guild can progress it at their own pace
maybe it could unlock special items perhaps?

Deff think that at least #1 should be added. I own a small guild with some friends and we constantly run into the problem of not wanting to guild war but also wondering why we even have the guild in the first place because of its lack of depth. All there is for guilds to do is war and that doesn't suit every guild out there. Only reason we have the group right now is to have something to "claim" as our group and tag and maybe have the guild bank for easily storing things for all of us to use/trading items when someone is offline for them to pick up.

I think #1 would be insanely cool for guilds to have so that smaller guilds (especially with this update coming out so recently and the player base increasing) can actually have a reason to exist besides just having the little tag next to your name in chat. Maybe a possible suggestion to make it more balanced would be to set a limit on how many points can be earned by the guild each run/day? and limit it to only 1 run at a time per guild so that you couldn't just split the guild up to cover more ground or anything.

#2 seems a little iffy to me and deff seems like it could be favored towards larger guilds (mainly because of mythics/items they can give to their members to be able to do more damage to the boss) but it would be cool to see something like this if worked out properly.

#3 just... doesn't seem like something Wynncraft should add imo. While yes it is cool on games such as Albion, ESO, etc. (idk any other games that really do this as I don't play many others like that) Wynncraft does not really need something like this in here (at least for a guild type thing) maybe something you choose for your account when joining the server, but also this would have to be hashed out to figure out how to do this and such in another post.

Generally great ideas! Would really love to see some of these (or more ideas) brought forward for expanding the guild system
