    it would be great if instead of hiding it and removing viewing perms, it remained visible but without messaging perms so prior messages could be viewed, which may contain useful information

    one option is a clear yes and the other option is not a yes while also expressing clear disbelief in a negative fashion
    idk what could possibly be more clear aside from directly slapping a "(no)" label onto it

    Really don't see the reasoning to hide #hero_beta at all

    Considering there's plenty of helpful messages in there at this point you could simply make it viewable but unable to type in (keeping message permissions would just cause the channel to devolve in quality over time when there isn't actually a beta).

    If I pretend you're bad at making suggestions, then there are two options in the poll right now: one agreeing with the suggestion and one "expressing clear disbelief in a negative fashion" about "hiding it and removing viewing perms."
