Major changes may not be implemented before the release of 2.0 due to it being planned for release in early September, but I wanted to leave this here in case they are planning on making said major changes after the initial release. Please feel more than welcome to give your own inputs.

-Revert knockback. The 2.0 knockback changes were completely unnecessary. The old system was better.

    -Buff dash's range.

-Rework trickster. Trickster has a great idea behind it, but it was very poorly designed in general. It has a 20s cd for an ability it is totally dependent on, your clones can't really use multi well, and your "cc" gets totally destroyed by the fact that lure speeds up enemies.

-Buff acrobat's damage. It definitely shouldn't be fallen/riftwalker level, but it should at least have decently high amounts of dps, since this is assassin.

-Nerf mana traps and buff everything else on trapper.

-Replace useless/extremely specific abilities on paladin like sparkling hope, shield strike, and burning heart with cool abilities like mantle (probably also replace mythril skin's kb resistance with 10% extra damage resistance if knockback is indeed reverted).

This suggestion is maybe not detailed enough, I doubt this will be listened if you're just like "do this, not that, this thing better for some reason" a suggestion for this kind of major features has to go in depth.

Mana bombs atm are actually broken, like they give more mana than intended, its best to wait until they fix it to determine if it should be changed

Tbh the new knockback, while yeah it can be annoying, it's really only detrimental on ranged mobs since they can just stun lock you from a distance. I only support the removable of the knockback from ranged mobs but that's about it, because in close combat it really doesn't make much of a difference.
Dash is...kinda fine tbh. Although I do kinda miss the vertical height boost in 1.20, so Dash does kinda meh for travel purposes (Shadestepper is fine, Acrobat is fine. Your loss if you're Trickster I suppose). But in terms of combat, I don't think the range needs to be buffed, but it would be nice if it could be recast while airborne and give the same velocity.
Salted has already said that he wants to make the Clones less feeble and it's pretty obvious everyone hates Trickster right now so I would say there's a possibility it's already in the works but no promises.
Idk what scuffed acrobat builds you're using are but acrobat damage is perfectly fine. Multihit and Lacerate can be aimed downward, you have shurikens that can bounce off mobs, Smoke Bomb for constant damage, and Jasmine Bloom for additional damage which triggers Weightless, allowing you to get more mana. I currently have a rewind build for Acrobat that gives me 25k Multihit (35k with Nirvana), I don't think the damage needs to be buffed. If you know how to effectively control yourself in the air, you can properly land all your attacks.
As mentioned by another, Mana Bombs are bugged. I don't play 2.0 Archer due to my lack of interest in it, so I cannot comment on the rest of Trapper.
Paladin is in a weird state right now where some people love it and some people hate it. I think Burning Heart's requirement should be reduced due to the very very few weapons/gear that actually grant Health Bonus, but hey it gives Morph Ignition 25k Uppercuts so that's funny. Sparkling Hope and Shield Strike are just too weak to have any true value whatsoever and I do agree that Paladin should have more than just passive abilities, but also ones that have a noticable impact. I personally would like to see Martyr be triggered after reducing incoming damage by a total of 700% (Each mantle reduces damage by 70%, so you would have to lose 10 shields to trigger the immunity for allies, making Paladin a much more useful support).

I didn't get the first one. If kb changes on close-range attacks don't make much of a difference anyway, why wouldn't they just completely revert knockback? It's less work.

For the second one, movement spells are supposed to be for travel as well as combat. I think everyone is used to using movement spells powerful enough for travel in combat anyway. About the recast while airborne thing, if you are talking about old assassin flight, I think dash being able to be recast like that would be pretty cool improvement for acro flight. If you are talking about literally being able to spam dash upwards with no cooldown, I don't think I need to explain how ridiculous that'd be as a default ability.

Third, cool, I hope he doesn't mess it up.

Fourth, assassin is my only endgame class, and therefore the only one I've tested on beta, so I might be overestimating dps on other classes because I keep seeing videos of people using multiplicative damage abilities and mythics. Can you give me a precise idea of how high acro's dps is in comparison to other classes?

Fifth, I hope they fix it.

Sixth, I did not understand what you just said, and I didn't even know mantle was stackable. Anyway, I do hope they replace shield strike and sparkling hope with actually useful abilities.

This is probably gonna be very subjective, but personally this is how I rank the Archetypes in terms of highest to lowest DPS: Shadestepper (can one shot bosses), Summoner (great single target DPS), Boltslinger (GA), Sharpshooter (arguably higher but focus is powerful), Acolyte (with Double/Triple Totem), Riftwalker (Also arguably higher but winded takes some time to stack), Fallen (depends on build but can be ranked higher), Battle Monk (With the right build and paired with Fallen, this can possibly be near the top of the list), Acrobat (Jasmine Bloom + Weightless = huge mana gain), Ritualist (Mask of Lunatic), Lightbender (if paired with winded and breathless this actually isn't too bad), Trapper (More patient hunter), Trickster (Lure), Paladin (lackluster damage, Burning Heart is the only thing it has going for it)

Like I said, the list is subjective and just because some are ranked lower than others doesn't mean they're a bad source of DPS. Acrobat requires you to spam spells constantly, but the damage quickly adds up. I've had no complaints about the damage from my testing and I'm using a crappy Roulette build with like 19k Uppercuts or something.

That mana Regen for acrobat is tragic. Also rewind has sorcery so technically rewind gets more DPS.

I don't really care about "oo hehe look better build" I'm just happy to know that more weapons are now viable to use, because so many before just sucked

Ok apparently it was 21k and you DO NOT need this much mana regen with Sorcery Acrobat (yes funny Freedom build, people don't give Morph Stardust enough credit where it's due):

This has 17.7k Multi but is much tankier and has a proper amount of mana regen:

I'm still confused by how effective Morph Ignition Paladin is tho. It looks outstanding for single player newbies and I hate morph lol (22.4k Uppercut w/ Ragnarokkr)

You only need about 50ish with spells cost in the low 20s or less. Weightless and Jasmine Bloom will work wonders

here's a last minute suggestion before 2.0 releases: rework the entire trickster archetype

Also I'm pretty sure the old knockback system no longer exists, like the old spell system

To be honest I don't think 2.0 should be released for another month while everything is sorted out. Me personally, I would like a well balanced and polished update rather than a bad release and a fixup later, especially with how the public beta allows for actual testing

The problem is 90%+ of the testing is done in endgame which makes balancing really difficult, and beta honestly could last for months, which is unrealistic. I think as long as everything is at the very least functional and fun, they can worry about balancing afterwards. For the most part, we've got a majority of the balancing ironed out despite a few... glaring issues. But yeah, I do agree with you on wanting beta to be polished for live release.

I think the overall lack of early/midgame testers is the biggest reason why they're pushing for live release before balancing everything out
