Add an outline/glow to bosses

similar to parties, bosses will have colored glowing outline to them, preferrably red or white, this helps tell apart other mobs from bosses, so i dont die trying to find the orange wybel in the boss altar

Adressing implications:

• This obv shouldnt work when the bosses are vanished
• For TOA final floor only death metal should be highlighted cuz hes the one we need to kill
• The warden's mirages should be highlighted,
• The Eye wouldnt need an outline at the hitbox

yeah like that, every boss should have a red/white outline, makes them stand out and red outline makes them look intimidating ;)

 

This is a feature of 2.0. Bosses in 2.0 have outlines.

 

oh do they? I didn't see this on LI bosses when beta dropped, so has the feature been expanded?

maybe optifine custom entity models?

 

We cannot give them sets of animations depending on what they are doing and those make the server dependant on optifine. As of now, entities that use armor stand models don't have the glowing effect
