World Modeled armor

So since now we have pretty good models of helmets from the events. I think its time that we get armor skins for all armor. Similar to how weapons get their skins there will be 3 tiers of elemental gear and 2 tiers of neutral. I would also like to see other pieces of armor like chestplates, legs and boots be added to the gearskin loottable.

 

This would be cool but I'm not sure it would work because of normal Minecraft only having the base model textures for armour.
So I think unlike tools which can have multiple textures depending on durability the armour which is visible on the player only has one texture (Not 100% sure though). Different textures could definitely work for the item though which would be cool.

Minecraft lets you wear custom blocks and items on your head

probably possible but the armor would have delayed movement with the player and look really weird


it would also block their downwards view


as for doing it like with hats, as stated above, this isn't possible because the hats rely on a custom model being put on the player's head slot which is a vanilla minecraft thing

Unless it's only shown to other players, though that would be disappointing to the player wearing the armor in F5.

 

well you already have custom hats in wynncraft so its clearly possible, dont worry Im pretty sure they will find a way.
