Game Mechanics Make player bank reset possible

So sometimes you see some of the players posts questions regarding restart the whole game in the Question section. The most frequently asked question about it is "Is there anyway to reset my bank?".
Although you can just put bank items in your inventory and throw them away, but it's quite annoying if the player have a lot of items, and purchased bank pages cannot be reset too.
Add a button in the bank pages to let players reset bank. Of course, a warning will pop up and have a countdown of 5 seconds before they confirm to avoid misclick.
An option to reset your bank when creating a new class where it only applies to that class is also possible. This can prevent losing items forever after rethink the decision. (Suggested by IamFye)
Maybe the changes doesn't really matter in normal gameplay, but I believe this will be a nice QOL features to be added.

 

Why not just give you an option to reset your bank when creating a new class where it only applies to that class.

Because how are we going to get items back if you rethink your decision?(Even if there was a button to get them back i don't think it's possible. Because as of right now there is no way to get back lost items according to staff.)
Or if you just want this to happen certain classes and not all of them.

okay but wouldn't the second thing be essentially ironman; you can't transfer items from that class to your other classes other than trading through the market or something stupid like that

 

But you can literally still do trading that isn't fully ironman.also have a way ..... Bigger place to store your items . Plus not like there isn't a way to bank stuff on ironman either :tf:

 

Item transferring between classes is still an issue, you didn't adress that.

 

Thing is this suggestion isn't suppose to be a challenge mode or anything like that. It can be a option while making a new class if a player wants a fresh new bank they get one. So items being able to be transfered through out classes won't be big of an issue. And as NoSoul said this is suppose to be a QOL feature.

Otherwise this would just be ironman with a bigger storage space

 

A problem is how it is decided with which other classes the new bank would be shared (if you don't delete your entire bank). I think it would also be very hard to code.
Anyway, quite a lot of people are asking for this so it would probably be a good idea. Maybe they can add a bank backup like we have class backups for champion rank.

 

There is a reason why class backups are limited to champion ranks.
So it really is only goimg to be possible to add bank backups for champion ranks too. because it's the most expensive rank and less players have it.
Now unlike class backups limiting a bank backup from your whole account to champion rank.... That would just straight up be an asshole move.

However I would support a "delete all data" option because bank reset is only useful to those who want to start over completely, so just do that.

 

The problem i have with resetting the whole bank on ur account or resetting your data completely is that what if you change your mind? Like some people do change their mind like that. And then we will have people crying on the questions channels asking if they can get their data back. If backups for that were possible class backups wouldn't be limited to champion rank(yet alone whole account worth of progress). And if they limit it to champion rank only champion ranks would not have to delete their progress in fear of not getting their progress back and would also be p2w.

I changed my mind, I don't really think it would be a good idea. It will probably lead to a lot more people wanting their stuff back than we have people asking to delete their bank now..

 

I would say that throwing all your items out is fine enough. Yes, it may be annoying, but either it is worth it or not. Regarding pages, you can simply use only those you "buy" by throwing emeralds into lava (ir doing giveaways at later pages). Yes, it might not be that convenient, but it is an option.

It would make life of devs easier, since it would most likely introduce fair amount of bugs, both accidental deletions and possibly dupes.

Not worth the effort, in my opinion.
