    Note: This is only a fan suggestion. Noticing that Wynncraft contains quests that involved pirates such as Redbeard's Booty, places such as the Pirate Cove, and the electro magic from Corkus City, I thought it would be a good idea to combine those two together as a class. If any of the details below or/and the overall premise of this suggestion is dumb, you're free to criticize me or ignore this thread. I formatted this as close as possible to the class display on the Wynncraft Official Site. Feel free to add to this if you want.

    Class: Pirate

    Class Description:

    Pirates combine their abilities together to replicate their good o' times back with the crew in exchange for dealing a bit less damage and having high-cost abilities. An individual pirate utilizes spell combinations to quantify their next attacks.

    Class Weapon:
    Weapon: Hand-Cannon
    Note: Lorewise, the Hand-Cannons could be an invention from Corkus City. (This invention could be smuggled/traded into the province of Wynn/Gavel.)

    Class Stats:
    Damage: 3/5
    Defense: 2/5
    Range: 3/5
    Spells: 4/5

    Class Difficulty:
    3/3 Difficulty

    Abilities/Spells:

    R-L-R: [Blast]
    Fires a small cannonball in front of you. The cannonball loses damage over air time (More damage when fired closer to the mob).

    Grade 1 (Lv1) -> Cost: 6 Mana
    125% to 50% Damage
    * 20% Fire

    Grade 2 (Lv16) -> Cost: 8 Mana
    150% to 100% Damage
    * 20% Fire
    * 20% Earth
    + Pushover: Cannonballs knockback mobs. (Maybe this could cause knockup, but wouldn't that copy Warrior?)

    Grade 3 (Lv36) -> Cost: 8 Mana
    175% to 150% Damage per cannonball
    * 30% Fire
    * 30% Earth
    + Buckshot: Shoots five cannonballs in a volley instead of one.

    R-R-R: [Grapple]
    Tosses a hook in front of you. Pulls you towards its destination if it hits
    a block/mob. Mobs hit by the hook are also pulled towards you and cancel your launch.

    Grade 1 (Lv11) -> Cost: 4 Mana
    - Hook Range: 15 Blocks

    Grade 2 (Lv26) -> Cost: 5 Mana
    - Hook Range: 30 Blocks
    60% Damage
    * 40% Air
    + Headbutt: Collision with the enemy hits and stuns them for a short duration.

    Grade 3 (Lv46) -> Cost: 5 Mana
    - Hook Range: 45 Blocks
    80% Damage
    * 40% Air
    + Fisherman: Holding "shift" while tossing the hook will pull mobs towards you
    (Does nothing if it lands on a block). Crouching/Shifting while being pulled in the air cancels
    your momentum (Mobs will still be launched, but will take 50% of the damage instead).

    R-L-L: [Cannon]
    Throws a cannon that copies your other abilities, but deals 75% of the damage instead.

    Example: If you use [Blast], then the cannon uses a weaker [Blast].
    Note:

    Grade 1 (Lv21) -> Cost: 10 Mana
    - Lasts for 15 Seconds
    - When [Blast] or R-L-R, the cannon copies the ability towards a nearby enemy (or the same enemy?).

    Grade 2 (Lv36) -> Cost: 11 Mana
    - Lasts for 20 Seconds
    * 200% Thunder
    * 200% Fire
    + Self-Destruct: When the cannon expires, it explodes, damaging nearby mobs.

    Grade 3 (Lv56) -> Cost: 12 Mana
    - Lasts for 25 Seconds
    - When [Barrage] or R-R-L, the cannon also gains its bonuses.
    * 250% Thunder
    * 250% Fire
    + Spinning Cogs: Allies near a cannon gain +1 tier attack speed. (4-6 block radius?)

    R-R-L: [Barrage]
    Your next normal attack or [Blast] R-L-R will deal more damage with additional effects. These bonuses do not apply for [Cannon] R-L-L unless said otherwise (Refer to [Cannon] Grade 3).

    Grade 1 (Lv31) -> Cost: 5 Mana
    - For Normal Attack: * 75% Thunder
    - For [Blast] R-L-R: * 75% Water

    Grade 2 (Lv46) -> Cost: 7 Mana
    - For Normal Attack: * 75% Thunder, * 25% Water
    + Rapid Fire: Has a 33% (+ More % chance based on current Air Damage %/3) chance to gain +1 tier attack speed for 7 seconds. Doesn't stack with the [Cannon] attack speed buff.
    - For [Blast] R-L-R: * 75% Water, * 25% Thunder

    Grade 3 (Lv66) -> Cost: 7 Mana
    - For Normal Attack: * 75% Thunder, * 25% Water
    - For [Blast] R-L-R: * 75% Water, * 25% Thunder
    + Quick Shot: Has a 33% (+ More % chance based on current Air Damage %/3) chance to fire [Blast] an additional time.

    Ending Note: I don't have much of an idea on how balancing works, so bear with me if I came up with something absurd.

    archer but its more janky and has much higher damage (500% spell conversion for what I assume is a 1.2 or 1.0 base class (if we take assassin base as 1.0))

    also
    cannon buff is op as heck (free +1 tier gain, even more stonewalker abuse???)

    I love the Idea, but I think it would need some playing arround with the stats feels OP as heck at the moment

    I like this idea. Although the statistical side and balancing is lopsided the fundamentals are there!

    Increase one of these stats by 1, every Wynn class has a total of 13 stat points and this only has 12

    Ooh, this one sounds interesting! Here's a few quick balancing suggestions for this:
    • Lower Grapple's range at Tiers 2/3 (Imagine snagging an enemy or even a player from 45 blocks away, and then dragging that into the range of multiple Assassins or Meteor Mages to be soloed out. Not exactly balanced, so keep it's range at 15 blocks, please!)
    • While the Cannon Spell sounds fun, you're trading Third Spellspam (one of the best strats in current Wynncraft) for...An AI who might not even hit what you want it to. Maybe if you could place up to 4 or 5 Cannons, it would be better (broken, but definitely something fun we could work with!)
    • We don't usually mess with Attack Speed Tiers as an effect for a Spell. Builds should modify Spells, not the other way around (you could make it work, but only if you got through the Gordian Knot of explaining mechanics and tweaking balance to make an ID-modifying Spell work. Plus, new players would have a bit of extra trouble understanding it to begin with.)

    I thought the stats ranged between 12 and 13. I believe only the mage class has 12 stat points, so I did the same here.

    Now that I think about it, the range of the grapple might be too busted and cause some issues involving keeping track of the landed grapple that is around 30-45 blocks away from you. Does decreasing the overall range by over half the amount do the trick?

    Grade 1 (Lv11) -> Cost: 4 Mana
    - Hook Range: 7 Blocks

    Grade 2 (Lv26) -> Cost: 5 Mana
    - Hook Range: 13 Blocks
    60% Damage
    * 40% Air

    i like this quite a bit!
    question tho, what would the main attack look like?
    aoe cannonballs sound kinda op due to not having to aim much, but a non-explosive cannonball would just make it an archer ripoff
