Well I do not agree. Because removing soul points will cause people to treat their in-game lives as if it is nothing. And yes, I do realize that it is INCREDIBLY frustrating whenever I realize that I am losing my items but thats what makes the game fun. For example, lets say that you are in a heaven that never changes and never lets you go. Then you will be bored of heaven. And if we change the 'heaven' to Wynncraft, that means players will get bored of this game quickly. So please think again about soul points removal.

Item loss makes sense, but it shouldn't include ID items at all.

Losing loot such as em, mats ingredients and maybe unid item boxes (excluding mythics, and quest reward), is a consequence, but not nearly as discouraging as losing a build.

Heaven isn’t a videogame lol. The difficulty is still the same in terms of beating a challenge like parkour or a boss or a raid. Though you still get punished by having to redo fights and having to waste time and emeralds and consumables.

Even if there is no specific "punishment" on death implemented into the game's code, the loss of time, patience, and entry costs (when pertaining to raids and dungeons) is punishment enough. Wynncraft is not survival minecraft nor is it like Dark Souls or Dungeon Realms (another minecraft MMO), which all have their reasons for having punishments on death such as the loss of items or currency. Soul points do not add to Wynn's gameplay loop and instead retract from it, while just being a bad punishment system overall. Not to mention how many times I've seen or heard of players losing all of their items because they AFK'ed in a town and because the devs for some enigmatic reason refuse to implement safe zones in towns. The removal of soul points and death punishments would fix that issue and many others instead of fixing a bunch of issues that tie back into soul points. Just cut them from the game I definitely will not miss them.

As for the skill point reset, perhaps it can cost a small fee of emeralds which scales depending on your level. Or it can just have no cost at all so people have more freedom with building.

Soul points is a bad punishment for death. Yes, removing it makes Wynncraft broken, but there can be a different system that punishes you for death other than soul points.

the system could be updated to that you have to stand still for a couple of seconds (up to maybe 10) for the /kill to work (that would be fine for the intention of getting out of somewhere your stuck but not be abuseable

you could also redo how teleport scrolls work and make /kill bring up a menu to select which scroll you want to use or if you have none teleport to ragni only (or if you really want to be a punishment open up part/all of the tutorial area and make the free teleport in there so you have to walk through alot of that as the punishment

Given how Wynncraft combat allows itself to be cheesed with super-tanky builds, parties, consumables, etc., it really doesn't make sense to punish the people who don't cheese fights.

Seriously, replacing soul point loss with levelling progress loss is a good neat idea.
