    Have you ever felt like mage's early game damage output was too good? Have you ever wanted a melee class that's even more painful? Well this is the post for you!

    Stats:
    Damage : 1/5
    Defence : 4/5
    Range : 2/5
    Spells : 5/5

    (110% base defense if we consider assasin base defense to be 100%)
    Weapon: Halberd
    Spells: Orbs of Life, Surge, Behead, Reanimation

    Orbs of Life - 8 mana: For every melee hit, there is a chance (scales with attack speed) that you will summon an experience orb. It restores 7% of total health to the ally who picks it up, and 5% to all nearby allies. It lasts 10 seconds before you need to recast it, and recasting it resets the cooldown but deletes all orbs. Only works on hostile enemies.
    Upgrade 1: If an enemy touches an orb, it disappears but will deal 50% base damage
    Upgrade 2: mana cost reduced to 6
    Upgrade 3: Shifting now causes all orbs to float towards you or the nearest ally.

    Surge - 4 mana: You move 10 blocks forward and 6 blocks up in the direction you cast it in.
    Upgrade 1: You knock enemies backwards slightly at landing
    Upgrade 2: You create a small explosion at landing, which does 30% base damage.
    Upgrade 3: You now deal 100% base damage to all enemies you pass through, and every enemy you pass through heals you for 1% of missing health, capping at 10%

    Behead - 10 mana: The only spell that does over 100% base damage, you will be launched 2 blocks up and will create an "x" with your weapon slashes, dealing 250% base damage.
    Upgrade 1: You will now knock enemies back 5 blocks
    Upgrade 2: You will launch enemies up about 1 block as well as knocking them back 5 blocks, and at landing they will take an additional 50% base damage.
    Upgrade 3: Shifting while casting behead will reset your orbs duration without deleting any orbs if you hit a hostile enemy.

    Reanimation - 12 mana: You will summon a zombie drudge to help you fight your enemy. It will take 5% of its max health as true damage every second, and its health and damage scales by 2% for every 5% of earth damage you have, capping at 50% increased damage and health. Its base damage is 75% of your base damage and its base health is 3x your health. You cannot recast it while another reanimation is currently active.
    Upgrade 1: Your zombie drudge will get a very weak multihit that it will use every 10 seconds if within range.
    Upgrade 2: If you shift while casting, you will instead summon a zombie scout that deals 125% base damage with a 100% air conversion, and has a 75% movement speed buff, but only has 1x your health.
    Upgrade 3: You will now summon 3 zombies to help you, and if one dies you can recast the spell to create a new one to replace the one that died. Conversely, casting will now take 1 second where you cannot attack the enemy or cast other spells.

    Experience orbs as a support mechanic is a unique idea, I've never seen that one before.

    Not a fan of the trajectory of this one.

    Not a fan, doesn't seem balanced either. Too much damage against bosses and probably too negligible against most other adds? (I could be wrong - I'm not a math guy)

    yeah reanimation spells in rpgs are usually unbalanced, especially without cooldowns, but I really like the idea

    if we replace the third upgrade with the weak multihit thing and we make the earth damage scaling into the first upgrade, while also making them take 15% max hp true damage/sec (7 sec lifespan at most, these would have the most basic ai imaginable so against any kind of decent enemy they would die even quicker), and giving it a 15 mana cost so that even at 147 mana they'd still cost 5 or 6 mana, I think it would be somewhat balanced?

    my only complaint is the name because there's already myhic boots called Revenant
