Horse breeding questions

With horses, I know there's the 30%-20%-50% chance for same-higher-lower tier horses. However, there is a horse from the Ice Barrows you can buy for dungeon currency and 1 brown horse, for an extra 5 levels on each stat.

Does this horse have any effect on the outcome of the breeding? Should I even bother with the ice barrows brown horse?

From my understanding they still “breed” the same. For instance if you trade your brown horse and 1 ice shard you still technically have a brown hose, just with slightly higher stats. Ie no difference in breeding outcome percentages. Hopefully that helped!

 

No effect on breeding, but if u can’t afford a brown horse it’s really good.
It may reset its lvl to 1 but it doesn’t take long to get it back and the 5 extra lvls does make a dif in speed
I’d say it’s worth for every horse when the next tier is really expensive for u
