So I've been playing Wynncraft for sometime, and I may be biased, but i think there should be more items early game that give special abilities. Like when you start, it just mainly focuses on classes, damage and levelling up in general, so i think maybe in Wynn's next large update we could get more items which are more ability base.

(DISCLAIMER: I MAY BE WRONG AND THERES ALREADY SOMETHING LIKE THIS I JUST FELT WHEN I WAS PLAYING IT THIS MIGHT BE SOMETHING THAT WOULD MAKE IT BETTER

I think Wynn is trying to go for more of a u unlock it as u go, and it slowly breaks things to the player
Like if u get a weapon at lvl 1 with like 50 different ID stats and special things that’s gonna be super confusing for newer players
This way it kinda eases them into it and builds upon it as they lvl up higher and start to understand the game better

This is just how I see it tho

I do agree it wouldnt be ideal if u find an item with so many text on it, but I would like to see Wynn haave amulets that have special abilities which u can upgrade and find new ones. This would make end game and mid game better and they wouldn have to use mana since cooldowns are already a popular balancing system. Plus items like amulets could even add more summons for higher levels and more reason for loot, cuz mid game ur just finiding emeralds mostly.

I think that would be a cool idea, just I don’t think it would be good for early game
Mid, late, and endgame tho I think that would really add some variety to the game and is nice

It'd be cool to get an elemental type ability you could use after reaching a certain level or completing a certain mission, the problem is that not every weapon would have the same type of ability and that could cause some bad market issues

    2. i belive you are talking abt major ID's yes?
I see why they arnt in lvled areas under lvl 30-40 since your learning how to play your character/how to play the game. I can agree how at lvl 50 gaining major ids would be very cool

There are already many Major ID items available in the early game, the nearest one being at level 30 which you unlock for free after doing The Mercenary quest. I also believe that there is good reasoning for Wynncraft's choice to have more Major IDs in the late game. First of all, a large majority of the Wynncraft community is already at the end game, making it more beneficial to Wynncraft to add more content to the late game, rather than the early. One example of this would be the fairly new Raids that were added, which though can be done pretty mid-game, go all the way to the late game with Raids such as TCC and NoL. Another reason is that once players reach the end game, they tend to focus more on buildmaking and customizing themselves rather than other options such as questing. This means that by providing more options for people who are making builds will most likely lead to them being pleased. There are also a couple factors to why Wynncraft don't have as many major IDs in the early game.
    1. Major IDs are a sort of incentive to keep the player around. By adding more in the early game, the player will have less incentive to continue playing.
    2. Major IDs can sometimes be too much for the player, as there's already a lot of content for them to discover and adapt to.
    3. Getting out of the early levels is considerably easier than in late-game, meaning that you'll probably replace the item with the Major ID incredibly quickly; if you consider the time it takes for Wynncraft developers to create a major ID, it seems pretty unlikely they'll put it on an item that players will eventually throw away.
    4. There's already a couple sets of armor that many early game players turn to, making it unlikely they'll pick a different set of armor. One example of this would be the "Adventurer Set," a staple armor set that provides a variety of bonuses that prove useful for an early player.
    5. Once you reach end game on one class and make a new one, you'll speed through all of the early game content pretty quickly by grinding in exp hotspots, and so players will get through the early game content even faster than it already took. Of course, I'm not saying that it doesn't take a long time to get out of early-to-mid game, I'm just making a point that early game grinding is a lot faster than late-game.
Finally I'll end this by saying that, though I made many rebuttals to your suggestion, I do appreciate the fact that people take their time to express their ideas, and hope you make more.
