    so, outside of decrepit sewers, there is a skull and it has a brain in it. there shouldn't be a brain in it because the brain should've decayed. salted please fix

    Jokes aside, I think the actual reason for there being a brain is as a solution for the fact that you can't make transparent player heads in minecraft and thus cannot make a cracked open skull
