Game Mechanics Please Give The Demonic Dogun Mask Ids And/or Lower Its Cost

This suggestion is short and sweet but it would make me very happy for it to be implemented, im sure this small change could just be stapled onto any normal patch. Im not sure if suggestions for singular items are allowed, so sorry if im making a mistake here.

Im pretty sure 90% of people dont know about the Demonic Dogun Mask, but at the festival in Dwarves and Doguns part 1, there is a merchandise merchant. He sells Dogun Ale at 32 emeralds, Dogun Treats at 64 emeralds, and a Demonic Dogun Mask at 131,072 emeralds. Or 32 Liquid Emeralds.

This item is obviously meant to be some sort of novelty, because it doesnt have IDs its not a real piece of armor, and it doesnt even give you health. This is technically just a steve head.
The issue here is that whenever you disconnect from the server, steve heads lose their appearance. So this Demonic Dogun mask you bought for half a stack of LE is now just a steve head.

But even worse, you technically cant even wear the thing, its not a piece of armor so attempting to put it on your head will cause it to be taken off a few seconds later. All im asking for is that it's given any sort of ID so it becomes an official piece of armor rather than a steve head. Just +100 health or +15% fire resistance would be great so you can wear it without it being taken off. I am also pretty sure giving it IDs will stop it from becoming a steve head on relog and it will keep its appearance.

Also, i know it's a novelty item, but 32 LE is just insane. Im pretty sure this is literally the single most expensive item in the entire game that you can buy from an NPC. Please lower it to 10 or 15 LE, so that you arent burning a hole in your pocket for a useless item.

One last thing, and this is much less important to me than making it a real piece of armor, i would appreciate if it was made tradable. Just so that you could give it to friends as a gift, the store you buy it from is literally called a gift shop.

Well, the single most expensive useless item. Sure, blowing a whole stack on one LE is incredibly stupid, but at least you can use that LE.

 

Are you shift-clicking it on? Try putting it on by hovering over your helmet slot and dropping it.

 

I dont own the Demonic mask itself, both because of its price and because it will likely lose its appearance. But there are several other steve heads in the game, like Qira's item vouchers. No matter what you do, vouchers will be removed from your head. I highly doubt its different with the demon mask.

 

Vouchers are removed because they're not supposed to be worn, which is not the case with the Dogun Mask.

 

I think it should just be this if the Demonic Dogun Mask were to be changed:

This mask seems to be slightly cheap in design quality...

I think if it were to be like my version, I would say 2 EB is the best price for it, since it can actually be used, although it is very useless.

 

I like the stats, but 2 EB is too cheap. The Dogun Mask should stay a very rare item that few people own, and its cost is the only thing making it special. On top of the fact that lowering it to 0.09% of its original price is a really bad idea. It makes it a boring item and the few people that have already bought it will probably be upset that it was made so cheap.

 

Agreed, to counter act this, inorder to enter the shop, you must rid yourself of atleast 3 mythics, for a sacrafice, to the dogan gods.

waitwaitwait but didn't the dogun gods almost destroy the universe? i feel like having 1000 people sacrificing mythics to them would go poorly...

 

the universe might be destroyed but at least mythic prices will go back up

I know all of this mythic talk is a joke but they almost did add something like this to get a tome slot.
