I originally thought of this when I tried to introduce my friend to wynncraft, but he couldn't even figure out how to cut the tree in the tutorial. Then I realized how beginners they tend to not know how to use the wiki which can make unintuitive quests frustrating

Kind of like in Lazarus Pit where you can talk to the npc to get the exact coordinates, you should be able to talk to an npc again to get more exact hints on what to do next (exact coordinates, how to get there, what to do, etc.) so you don't always have to use the wiki

Thanks for the suggestion! We've actually been trying to do this more often lately, displaying coordinates in the quest book (and by extension, in the quest tracker)

They arlready kinda added Hints because in the new dialogues the important stuff is higlighted in blue or yellow or whatever + of that you now have the beacon that indicates the coords

Usually you can find out by yourself, but sometimes its just so vague that you need more thats already given

I think that the "sometimes" it is usually on purpose. The quests are not just about "go on these coords, now on these..." and reading some dialogue, no. Some are a mystery left for you to figure out

It's a very conspicuous tree and anyone scouring the edge of the ravine would probably figure it out soon enough. Also, NPC's give lots of hints, which are highlighted in light blue. If you dont' know the co-ords, you can just follow the compass, or look for the red beacon

apparently it wasnt enough for him and I had to tell him step by step how to do it. Most quests are pretty obvious as the npcs/quest book gives enough, but sometimes its extremely vague, like "Explore the area", "Find x object", etc. A week ago while passing by nemract I saw someone struggling the grave digger quest because he didnt know how to make Drucksh talk, and all the quest book gives is "Find a way to make Drucksh talk in Nemract at [72, 40, -2180] about Sayleros' dead brother." You would think the solution is pretty obvious, but apparently for some people it's not enough.

I agree, some cases it's very vague, which is why they should add hints to some, but mostly it's fine
