I am half-joking and half-serious. Removing the mesa would make Wynncraft more thematically consistent. Move the town to the Savana and use the extra area to expand SE or of the Savana/dessert. Another point I want to make is that the mesa doesn't have any quest that isn't dependent on the terrain(besides maybe one).

My guy, the savannah already has 2 towns a 3rd would be way overkill for such a small region. If they want to expand the silent expanse, they can do so in another direction. There's a million better things to do than remove the mesa.

If by ''Thematically consistent'' you mean ''Why the hell is there a desert and a tundra within a mile of each other'' then it is TECHNICALLY still consistent. Nesaak Tundra was created by Theorick Twain in a final attempt to save the area. Previously it was a forest.

Instead of outright removing the Mesa, it would be better to just rework it. I think the mesa sucks, and I hate going there, but I'd rather see new content sprinkled in to make it better than it being removed.

I think this is valid but I think it would be cool if the mesa was turned into an oasis-style area with the Almuj River making a cool waterfall. Also Nessak and Almuj are basically on the opposite side of map

I... really don't see some of your point here. Removing it will make the game more thematically consistent? The mesa fits in the desert-themed region of Wynn, and uh, if you think the mesa is thematically inconsistent, have you even seen the jungle's position?

And... 2/3 of the mesa quests aren't dependent on the terrain? Why is that a reason to remove the area?

    also um

Just no. I think the Mesa is pretty cool. Good music, a good town, and just overall cool + it was part of the first major update I ever experienced so nostalgia too.

I wouldn't say remove it but def rework it. Imo its one of thee most bland and unused areas of the map rn. Maybe they can rework it to have more interesting and good stuff? (also PLEASE make it better to navigate, we dont need a Canyon of the lost pre game)

Even cooler the mesa has a secret tunnel into the SE. Then there is more than 1 way in and gives the player a fast travel.

Personal opinion, keep mesa and add something in upper region :) Lower is home to a few nice spots for grinding

The issue I have with the mesa is how little time the player spends there. There's no content there to keep the player around for more than just 1-2 levels. Its desert between lvls 30-40 and a stop in the mesa at 38 for the main area quest and boom directly after its off to nesaak.

    Firstly, necropost.

Secondly, the first mesa quest is at 33 (Kingdom of Sand), and the first full mesa quest is at 35 (Tribal Aggression). The region ends around level 40 with the Sunrise Canyon boss altar. The region also has secret discoveries etc. That's a total of 8 levels of content.

lol didnt mean to nerco, just scrolling through stuff i havent read before.

Um yes. true. but those are so small / short that its not anything at least i stay in the area, its more so run in to the mansion, go back. Ive felt since the addition of the mesa, in the mob update i think it was, it was at least the first update since me joining they added it, that the area just felt like something short and temporary and not a cool place to grind and explore for a while in

I agree with the notion that there could be more to do in the mesa. It's one of my favourite regions because the verticality of the area is super cool but apart from the 2 tribes and Rymek, it's empty space. The western half has nothing and all the quests but Canyon Condor are localised such that you never have any reason to explore. The pacing just feels off - both the desert and the mesa are competing for a ~10 level space (The Mercenary quest -> Canyon Condor) at a level where you can just complete quests to level up and don't have to worry about grinding, meaning you just rush straight through to Nesaak/Llevigar, barely touching the mesa.

I somewhat agree, the amount of time the player spends in the Mesa is bland and short.
HOWEVER, this means that a update should be put in the Mesa instead of replacing it and removing it with something else.
The Silent Expanse does not need more space (This will be a heartbreaker) but it was never supposed to be a big area that you should spend more time in than an area like the jungle or desert, it was purely made to be a road to Dern.

The Mesa is due for an update though, its so inconsistent since a level 35 region is not needed due to the Magma Cube grind spot which will take a level 30 player to a level 40 player. this means that by the time you discover the Mesa your level will probably render the area useless.
