Suspended flowers was in no way nostalgic to me, it's honestly one of the more forgettable removed quests

As for mojang removing pigmen, they kept them in the game as zombified piglins and I really don't mind that

I'm sorry, but I think your problem is that you haven't been on the server in 5 years and don't understand how it has changed

I haven't been an incredibly consistent player, but I still play for a while after stretches of inactivity. And while I embrace all of the progress the server has been making, it isn't nice to see classic quests and loot chests that have been in the game for years be removed without recourse.
I view all of these older quests as small, miscellaneous objectives in Skyrim- they aren't terribly exciting, but if you're interesting they are available as side content. Removing such quests from the game only reduces what Wynncraft has to offer, and it paves over nostalgia!

I've done that quest at least 5 times before it was removed and it really was not anything special or noteworthy. Calling it a tribute is like calling a cheap Chinese bootleg of Toy Story a tribute. It's not important lore or story-wise, there's no unique or interesting characters, absolutely nothing noteworthy game-play wise, and mediocre rewards that you could totally forgo and not even notice. Basically it has nothing that makes the actual LOTR great story-wise, besides ripping off a single plot point and a few names. I've seen MAD parodies with more substance than that quest. The whole "tribute" part was even worse because it could have been a quest that was actually about the main story or contributed to the lore.

The clock mystery is and should be that; a mystery. It shouldn't be quest or be referenced in another because that would spoil the secret of it in-game. And again it's just unnecessary too; we have enough quests and content around level 70 anyway.

Suspended flowers was definitely an inferior quest to Deja Vu. It was literally just a overly-long fetch quest that had a special tidbit of lore that it did absolutely nothing with. At least in Deja Vu, they actually use time manipulation as a main plot point. The only real shame is that they didn't expand off of the story or lore of Deja Vu later in the game outside of another quest.

I really don't understand why you cling onto nostalgia like this. I've been playing the game before Gavel came out, and I don't miss any of the quests that were removed or changed. Just because something came before doesn't make it inherently better. Most old quests were either just fetch or grind quests that didn't change the status quo or build off each other story-wise. And Lord of the Clock and Suspended Flowers fell into that category.

They removed zombie pigmen because there was no reason for them to exist. Zombified Piglins are literally the same thing, just better in every way, they have some interesting lore to them, they have better mechanics associated with them and they just look better. I don't really get how you can be asking for "sprucing up" of content while using zombie pigmen as an example of removed content when it's a perfect example of exactly what you're asking for.

There's some things from old Wynn which I get nostalgic over, mostly some areas and builds, but questas are absolutely not one of them, the writing and content of quests is so much better now then it was 5 years ago.

I miss old Cinfras; I guess it was a bit bland color-wise, but it the style definitely fitted a capital/large trading city. Build-wise, Wynncraft isn't exactly linear. Like if you look at before Gavel and the Gameplay update, like they definitely improved the builds in those updates. But in the last update and 1.19, the builds are okay or marginally better. Obviously this isn't objective since I know lots of players like new Cinfras for instance, but I still get that vibe nonetheless. Also not trying to throw shade at the builders; I think Wynncraft is one of the best servers in terms of builds. I just think that there's only so much more you can do, ya know?

Cinfras is the place most talked about, but I think the worst offender (I will never stop venting about this) is the Emerald trail. I don't know what the build teams obsession with reworking that area is, but for some reason, every update they rework it to add stuff it doesn't need and they make it worse and worse. 1.17's version was actually good since it added the discoveries, 1.18 was alright, it was a little forceful of professions but otherwise it was still nice but 1.20 is just a complete clusterfuck to the point where I'm never going to start a new character because I don't want to deal with spending time walking and grinding there. It's supposed to be the baby starting area so you would think they would make it hard to get lost in yet for some dumb reason it has an elaborate underground network and massive walls everywhere making it super easy to get disoriented. 1.20 Emerald trail feels like an overdeveloped endgame area, it's wild to me that more people aren't talking about it :/

To me, LotC was basically what a fetch quest did right, as each Point of Interest had something unique for it. Gundalf's Library had some parkour in it, and Frudo's spot in Mt. Wynn was pretty cool to venture through it. I seriously think that the Mt. Wynn Parkour in Arachnid's Ascent should be merged with the one in LotC, and I already have an idea for what to do with Arachnid's Ascent if it does happen. Would definitely move Buggun's House (Just think of him as the brother of Bulbo) to somewhere in the Nivla Woods, and then put Gundalf's Tower near Mt. Wynn itself.

As for Suspended Flowers, I'm not really a huge fan of that. That is what a fetch quest does wrong. It's basically just someone asking you 'hey can u go get this for me k thx bai', and then when you arrive in Asher's house, he then goes 'get this for me so i can purify or sumtin like that', and the method of getting those Aerolia Flowers is nothing special. It's not even dropped from a boss, and that just sucks. and then you go all the way back to Detlas so a tailor can make some boots. Honestly, I think this quest desperately needed a rework. And I'm glad it did, Deja Vu is much better. And the NPCs in the quest are remembered by Lacrona being eaten by spiders (Web Plate lore), and the Aerolia Boots were obtainable from the Aerolia Flower mob, which sadly got removed.

I think the Aerolia cave should have become a 2-part cave, with the Aerolia Flower section being for Lv 12+ and the rest being for Lv 16+. That would've done it justice in my opinion.
